This tissue holder was just what I had been looking for---nice looking wood with a bottom that held the tissue box in place when lifting it up. But it smelled so bad that I had to put it in my garage to let it off-gas the chemicals. That was maybe 6 months ago---the smell is still too strong to bring into my house. Otherwise, it's beautiful.

Would never buy again!

This tissue box is very well made and I love the look in my bathroom. However, it is not big enough to fit a standard box of tissues - it should be an inch or two taller. I have to take the tissues out of the box to fit.

The quality/construction is good, but the color looks darker in person. In the photos it looks like a nice medium walnut, but the actual box has a lot more dark/espresso brown, almost burnt looking coloration to it. Also, maybe it’s my tissue boxes, my square boxes do not fit with the bottom piece attached - I had to remove it. You can see in my second pic the line where that piece is supposed to slide in but my tissue box extend well beyond that mark. You can use without the bottom, but still odd.

I really like this tissue dispenser. Unfortunately with the tissue that I use the whole box won't fit inside BUT I simply open the side of a new box and slide the tissues themselves into the container and it works just fine. The wood lets it blend right in rather than sticking out like a multi-colored tissue box.

Hardly used the box as it was in a guest room (with no guests). Was doing routine cleaning, knocked the box and the entire box fell into multiple pieces. Very disappointed.

At first glance the tissue box is beautiful but after constant clean up of wood dust, my husband cracked it open and discovered termites! Ugh! I had to spray the corner it sat on because it was on a wooden table.

Does not fit a standard size upright tissue box. Fortunately we are handy and added hinges in order to accommodate the cardboard tissue box. However this leaves a small gap of 1 cm space showing at bottom of box. The alternative is to remove the tissues from their package and place them directly in the tissue box holder.
