I bought this to make pealing garlic a bit easier. It seemed to work great. I don't quite need 5 so thinking I may gift a couple. It does make it a bit messier when pealing but definitely easier than trying to hand peal each one.

The garlic peeler is a winner in my book. It so efficiently and easily peels even the smallest cloves of garlic that I don’t use the other garlic peeler that I have. It replaces it! And it is so easy to clean—much easier to clean than the biggest garlic tool that I have that just sits in my drawer using up space.I bought a pack of them and gave them away to friends when I gave them all a gardening demonstration class on growing, harvesting, and processing garlic. They had fun learning to use their own and liked the colors, too.The only drawback, which isn’t really a big deal, is that it could be somewhat larger in diameter for processing Elephant garlic. The cloves are a little too snug inside the garlic peeler to do a proper job of removing the skins. No problem, though, since Elephant garlic is easily peeled by hand.Love this invention.

I use one of these everyday to peel garlic. Such a clever little tool. I am also a hero as I gave away the other four to the other cooks in the family and they love them too.

This tool is persnickity and only seems to work beautifully on single garlic cloves of a medium to large size. It doesn't do much for those tiny sliver size cloves, and if you put too many inside, they fall out before you can peel them. I ended up replacing it with one shaped like a cone. When it works, they're definitely better than doing it by hand, but the trade off is that they don't always work and b you still end up peeling the garlic the old fashioned way.
