(Sweetness probably coming from the Columbian and the lemon typically comes from Ethiopian beans, nice combo) Brewing method: I used chemex. Cool that coffeebros include is a little info graph showing which methods work well for the coffee, this one says chemex, kalita wave and aeropress if I recall correctly! Flavor: This delivered on the lemon, honey notes. The flavors were "floral like" in the sense that they were overall, not overly aggressive, which is characteristic of most light roasts. The acidity was bright, but didn't make you pucker. The brightness came out more as the coffee temp dropped. Been a while since I was able to actually taste lemon notes which I always love in Ethiopians. Overall had a great balance of sweetness and acidity. And was very fresh. It bloomed nicely. Closing remarks: I've tried many many coffees, and the majority are from craft roasters with a cost around $16 per 12oz. This is less expensive, it says light roast, and is truly roasted as such, and it actually matches the tasting notes listed. Highly recommend. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Medium Roast: I tried this coffee a variety of ways. It took me a few tries to get my brew right. I used a Chemex twice, use a Hario v60 twice and use the Aeropress once. I preferred the Hario v60 the best, use a coarse-medium grind. Overall, this is an above average coffee. I think the decision to mix washed and natural process is interesting- in my opinion, past a light roast, this doesn't create the best blend for a filtration brew style (Pour over or drip), but it's also not great for immersion (Inverted Aeropress or french press). Taste: Being a medium roast and seeing it is advertised as a well rounded coffee, I would agree it was not overly roasty tasting, or overly bright. It has a nice start of chocolate, followed by a slightly sweet hazelnut. It finishes with a very brief red fruit acidity which is mild. Closing: Overall I would recommend this to someone who doesn't venture into very fruity coffees often, this will definitely be received well to the average coffee drinker crowd who prefers great quality coffee that is fresh. If you consider yourself a connoisseur, I would try the light roast! Review: Complex high end coffee at very reasonable price. A light roast connoisseur's delight! - Became fascinated with pour-over coffee ever since WFH started about a year ago. Had the pleasure of trying some niche premium roasters but the high cost isn't sustainable for daily drinking. Tried light roasts from multiple places, including the company with a blue color bottle as logo but none of them really blew my socks off compare to my favorites from a place selling $20/8oz before shipping. This is until I tried Coffee Bros ordered via desertcart. The best brew at reasonable price point is hands down the Light Roast from Coffee Bros. The complexity, floral smell and the right amount of acidity makes this a forever staple in breakfast brew rotation. A big plus side is also how easily it is to achieve a good brew, and the flavors are aplenty so not as much beans are needed to achieve strong flavors I prefer nowadays. 10/10 would recommend for light roast lovers.

Complex high end coffee at very reasonable price. A light roast connoisseur's delight!

Beautiful coffee notes
Yum. I am lucky enough to have a really good espresso/cappuccino machine. Take a look at the crema that formed from this coffee on the photo I attached. I used to enjoy only dark charred roasts. I still do on occasion ... I’m finding the joy of coffee through lighter roasts with so many different dimensions. So many notes - floral, citrus, caramel, and honey. This coffee is an amazing light roast. Don’t let this (dry) looking bean fool you. It’s not over roasted. Sometimes these charred oily beans you typically see are over roasted and oily from sitting too long. You will TASTE the actual notes of this coffee. You are getting the caffeine even without the bitter acidic char taste you are used to! I have ordered a few different kinds of light roast coffee in hopes of finding a non oily bean- it’s not recommended for the grinder built in my espresso machine. This one is fresh and none oily! I stumbled upon this one- and I’m impressed! I will be re ordering! Great notes and a great morning cup!

5 Stars !!!
I personally roast my coffee at home because I am particular about how my coffee is (light) roasted. A friend suggested that I try these beans, so I ordered a bag of the light roast to bring on a trip out of the country where I was meeting up with a few friends who also happen to home roast. Day 1 in Belize with the crew: I brewed a pot first thing in the morning. The aroma legit woke everyone up. Another friend brought a bag of Red Bay Coffee from Oakland, CA (another amazing roaster) as well and assumed that I had brewed some of those beans. Needless to say, I received a ton of compliments for bringing this light roast! Everyone, myself included, raved about the colour of the beans, the aroma, the bright, citrusy taste that’s perfect to kick start your morning with. Adding this to my list of prime beans that are nice to have on deck at home or on the road! 👌🏽

Excellent Coffee
I am very pleased with this brand of coffee. The light roast is excellent. I am on my second bag now. The coffee is roasted within a couple of weeks of receipt; the date the coffee was roasted is on the bag. Once I open the bag, I can smell the freshness. I don’t know how to articulate this, but I’m sure some coffee lovers know what I mean. The coffee is smooth, not at all bitter. I love it so much, I drink it black. I highly recommend this coffee.

Exceptional Quality and Freshness
I have gotten pretty into quality coffee over the past few years and I never thought I’d be writing a review for a company shipped on Amazon! I was told to try Coffee Bros by a friend and it is already one of my favorite brands to turn to when the beans are getting low. Their light roast has incredible flavor and the roast date is always printed on the bottom so you can not only taste but see the freshness. The bags I’ve ordered were both roasted and delivered within a week and a half! The quality and the value of their light roast is definitely worth a try!
