Works wonders got up on plane right away and stable my crestliner fishhawk 1600 with evinrude 40hp 4 stroke outboard. Was able to go from 19-20 mph on aluminum props and on a stainless steel prop to 25-26mph wow unbelievable.

I have a new Tohatsu 6hp (MFS6DWDS) on my Sea Eagle 437ps, 14' inflatable. I was not able to get on plane with 1 person. It would go on plane with 2 people, because of the additional weight closer to the front.Yesterday, I installed the Attwood 94017 Hydrofoil, then took it out for 4 hours of fishing and testing.The boat was on plane pretty quickly and at less than 1/2 throttle with only me on the boat. Now the boat planes with 1 or 2 people, no problem.I am very pleased!

Made a big difference on my 16 flatbottom

I have a 2021 Suzuki 6HP short shaft and I am have 10ft jon boat.My motor has an anode next to the shaft where the hydrofoil would sit on. So I had to cut a portion of the fin. I was able to attach the fins on to the motor.1. It does work to get on plane just a tad quicker.2. I tested the speed, it decreased my boat speed by 2-3mph !3. When on plane, the whole boat seems to be 'sliding' left and right a bit. May be because of jon boat ?Well, I decided to take it off, and since I already made a cut on one of the fin, I can't return it.May be this will work much better with larger motor and also NOT jon boat ??

I bouth this to help with cavitation that was occuring due to the shaft on the 15 HP Honda motor I bought for a 13' Whaler being too long for the notched stern of the whaler. I put this pair together in July thinking I would eliminate the nocch in the stern of the whaler by building it up with fiberglass (and in raising the engine/stern height 5") this Fall. Without modification the boat took FOREVER to plane, and even when it did, the cavitation created tons of backsplash over the stern.I bought Hydrostabilizer Jr. hoping to achieve plane easier and reduce the cavitation, but did not expect the results I got from this purchase! The first one I recieved was clearly used and repackaged, so I sent it back and got another. The replacement had some slight defect in the plastic molding that required a little sanding in the gap that fits over theoutboard's fins to make them seat properly on the engine. Once I overcame those issues, this product worked better than advertised for my situation.The boat planes very quickly, and while there is still backsplash over the stern, it is minimal compared to before. I chose not to wait until fall to raise the engine and purchased an adjustable stern plate that raises the engine to meet my required height at the stern, and am now extremely happy with the way the Hydrostabilizer Jr has improved my boat's performance.

Noticable quicker plane and better handling

Damn these things are awesome! 9.9HP Honda outboard on a 8’10” dinghy and wouldn’t plane with two people and some laundry.I put these on today and I don’t think the boat hardly touches the water.Highly recommend!Buy a 12” bit holder extension to drill the holes so you don’t have to remove the prop.I installed mine on a beach with the motor still on the dinghy. Took me maybe 10mins.

Bought these 20 years ago when the motor was New they where perfect till last time out was docked for 2 weeks and in that time a beaver or muskrat chewed it pretty good but still worked great but replaced them cause some of the chew marks where sharp but I have a 40 hp mercury and boat planes out slot quicker.

Boat can plain with more weight and handles way better. Highly recommend these.

Easy to install and made a big difference to the performance of the zodiak. Also used less fuel. I believe it will pay itself of in fuel saving in a summer. 8hp Yamaha 2 stroke OB on 9 foot RIB.

En mi otro bote tengo un hidrofoil de otra marca lo cual si cumple con lo que promete.. pero en este caso la idea fue probar un producto de otra marca lo cual me dejó insatisfecho ya que sigue siendo igual con el hydrofoil y sin el.. no lo recomiendo
