Surf To SummitDeluxe Performance Sit-on-Top Kayak Thigh Braces

These are great for stability and a sense of "wearing" the kayak. I first saw then branded as a "Surf to Summit" product.They are better that any other thigh strap I have used for full-body workout paddling as well, They last for years. I would recommend finding your perfect length and then sewing the front tri-glide to a fixed position, because it tends to slip over time if it is stressed by high torque leg pressuring.

Super comfortable and well made thigh straps. Would highly recommend them to all paddlers with sit on tops.

These are less than a month old and the stitches are already pulling. I bought these to replace the braces on my dagger - but they are no where near the quality of the original equipment which were over a year and a half old. These will not hold up in surf. Unless it was a defective item I'd not buy them if you are an ACTUAL athlete and use them in rough surf. They may be fine for the lazy recreational user.

I'll just mention that none of the Kayak rental shops in Kailua even knew what kayak knee straps are. Also, no-one in Philippines knew. Manufacturer should advertise about them because they make kayaking much more comfortable.

Not so great: Biggest problem is that it is hard to adjust/cinch correctly. Much better options (which I ended up buying locally made a local paddle shop) has an easy cinch mechanism. Night and day difference!
