I want to learn how to invest in the Stock Market with little risk and I bought this book to get more information about this topic. The author tells us about what The Bag is, what elements make up the Stock Market, what functions does the Stock Market play, what alternatives are analyzed in the Stock Market investment, what information does it inflate in the bag, how to operate in the stock market. I found this guide informative and useful. All information is laid out in logically and easy to understand. I liked this book. I really got much helpful information on all my questions. I would recommend this book for those who are looking for the information about Stock Market Investing. It is worth reading.

I’m sad I purchased this. I couldn’t even make it past the first two pages without losing interest due to the fact that I kept trying to mentally edit all the errors and figure out what the author was trying to convey. Sentence structure is confusing to say the least. Where was the editor?

New terms never discussed. Horrible editing.

When you read this book you should expect yourself to understand the difference between investing in bonds vs investing in stocks, how to read stock tickers and stock tables, how the trading process takes place in a simplified language. You will also get an understanding of the various stock buying and selling orders like a market order, a limit order and stop loss order. The book has also a small part talking about the different market indices and the way we should react to a bull or bear market cycles.I found the chapters talking about decision times and investment strategies to be very interesting and important at the same time. Many investors even those who are professional in their field tend to forget some of these and need to be reminded from time to time. In one of the chapters, the author has successfully highlighted two important problems that many investors suffer from when they tend to invest in the stock market and they are timing the market and treating the stocks as their children! That was an important read in my opinion because I have seen many investors do these mistakes.

First book that I've read that explains the stock market and investing in stocks. There is a lot to learn and some of it can be quite complicated but I appreciate Philip kotler's explanations and his sense of humor. Great little reference book to refer back to in understanding the terms and strategies of stock market investing because there is a lot to absorb and understand.Obvious the secret to getting rich is not in here as the stock market is a gamble, but for someone who knew nothing at all about the stock market this was a very easy and informative read. Great starting point and it mentions books and place to go for further education. Thanks author for creating us a new book for all of us!

The creator portrays in detail the structure and elements of the share trading system, in which items it is smarter to contribute, conceivable dangers. On account of this book, I saw better how the share trading system functions and what are the highlights of contributing here.

it to help someone just starting out; gives a very basic foundation and he shares a lot of his own personal methods and resources; not at all pushy and does a good job of introducing basic terms in a simple manner, blending them into the topic his is discussing. This book won't take you very far but it is an excellent starting point and not technical.

Excellent book with lots of good info for beginners. Really written well and good progressive teaching of such a complicated topic!

This book describes itself as a “Beginners Guide” but the language used is not plain English at all, it is still contains a lot of insider jargon. The irony is, that this is combined with the fact that the book is not written in English syntax and, to make it worse, punctuation only exists in form of the occasional period. One constantly has to go back and try to figure out how this sentence may be structured in English. I cannot understand how a book could be published like this. As for owning up to its title, the book is certainly not a practical guide, and while it goes through all kinds of background info on theoretical details on how the stock market works, and complicated definitions of almost everything to do with the stock market, it does not guide you to the steps of how to begin investing with little risk, which is what I expected based on the title.
