great compressor. excellently packed.
this is my 2nd compressor of the exact same model. 1 for the garage and 1 for the barn. both times the boxes were in rough shape when delivered. holes, crunched corners , etc. but not a scratch on the units themselves. Both compressors run great and run quiet enough to still have a conversation. thank you.

very nice unit
the quietest bigger compressor I've seen . I've had it now for a couple years and it works great . as a contractor I would highly recommend this unit

Great for the DIY maker weekend warrior!
I've used this compressor lightly about 25 times across almost a year. I've also used many air compressors in my life/career, maybe a dozen. So I think I can offer a review.A number of posts said this can arrive damaged. Mine did too, but mine's only some bent sheet metal, nothing cracked or missing. The reason why there are so many damage reports: is this thing is heavy! The wheels make it easy to move, but only if you're on the same floor, like a garage. This would be perfect for a garage shop! I have a basement shop, and while I was able to get it downstairs step-by-step with the wheels, it's staying in the basement. The thing is heavy so if you're a travelling handyman, you're not gunna be lugging this tank in and out of the truck.Noise-wise, yeah it's quieter than the big piston reciprocating air compressors... but mostly anything is quieter that those monsters with the caged pulley flywheel. This one has dual compressor heads that remind me of a california air style. You'll need hearing protection if you're working right next to the thing. The tank on this is badass. The size is great if you're busting out tools occasionally in your man cave. All-day every-day, where it's gotta be making you money?--nah you're gunna need something else probably. This would be a great boost compressor for a busy multiperson shop though! The two quick-connect socket outlets and big beefy knob up front sealed the deal for me. I put mine on an appropriately-rated timer and now my at-home workshop is air-enabled!

Service after the sale was great
Received it with no shipping damage. The regulator would creep up in pressure setting by 30-60lbs from its set point till you used it again, then it would go back to setpoint while in use. This did not seem correct. Contacted the company and no hassle they sent me a new regulator and it fixed the issue. Overall, I have enjoyed this compressor and much quieter than my pancake compressor. Pumps up pretty fast for a small compressor. I have no complaints with it currently after three weeks. Always starts up fine and running it on a 15 amp breaker with no issues. So far very happy and I am one to scrutinize my purchases.

MANUFACTURER WILL NOT REPLACE DEFECTIVE UNIT BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT PURCHASING IT DIRECTLY FROM THEM.
I purchased this in June 2024 not realizing that if the unit was defective the Stealth will not replace the product because I did not purchase it from them. I purchased it from Amazon. They will only send me replacement parts. So far they have sent me a kit that replaced the capacitor, pressure switch, check valve, bleed tube, and pressure switch plug. Tear the machine down and put the new parts on. STILL DOESN'T WORK. I received an email how to reset the machine. Worked to get it to start but STOPPED WORKING. Contacted the company again and this time they sent me a Stealth Motor & Pump Assembly. Tore the machine apart again, installed new parts and STILL DOESN'T WORK. Called the company and they sent a 3rd repair kit that is ANOTHER Motor & Pump Assembly. So they are expecting me to tear the machine apart for a 3rd time and most likely it WILL NOT WORK! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS MACHINE, learn from me it looks good but works like crap! Oh... it has 'MAYBE' an hour of use including the 20 minutes of break in time.

Very nice !
It arrived undamaged. Heavy little sucker ! Got it unpacked, threw the mufflers on, plugged it in, opened drain, adjusted output, and fired it up. Let it run 3 minutes with the drain open and shut it down. Closed the drain and fired up again. Got to 80 psi pretty quick. I had a 1 gallon California Air Tools compressor. It was quiet but weak. Good for one tire before it cycled again. This thing is just as quiet, but way more volume and pressure. Didn't need a 20 gallon which would take way longer to fill. This is the perfect size ! Very happy with it !

Ambient temperature issues
Like the capacity and low sound level. Tank doesn’t leak off when not in use. Only issue I’ve had is when the weather changed and got cooler ( around 40F) the compressor didn’t want to start and run. Had to energize several times to get it to keep running for more than a second or two. Will have to store it in my heated storage room in the shop.
