I was told that the Yucatan Peninsulas sun can be brutal and so in preparation I purchased this hat because if it's SPF 50 rating and its wide-brim. I also really liked the fact that it's packable. As somebody that only uses a carry on for luggage its ability to roll up was important to me. I arrived in Mexico and just as predicted the sun here IS brutal. But with my hat I was able to navigate the days easily and never got overexposed once.Pros: this hat has some adjustable Velcro on the inner brim that allows you to tighten it. This came in handy when some of the beach gusts got a bit strong.Very high-quality. This is a very well made hat and a good investment for anybody that spends measurable time in the sun, whether you're gardening, vacationing, or don't want to accrue any more sun damage as you get older.There is a notch in the back for ponytails, which I think is very handy for people who are on the go and don't wear their hair down. Many hats will not fit correctly on the head if your hair is in a ponytail or a braid, but this one accommodates those hairstyles and I think that's really cool.Cons: I honestly don't have any. The price point is fantastic and the quality is above what I would expect, so I don't think that there are any cons with this hat.

I have a huge head. My mother used to say it’s because I am so smart, but I know other smart people who are capable of wearing hats. A few years ago, I found some xxl bucket hats on Amazon that I can wear, but they are ridiculous! The brims are huge and floppy, and the red one makes me look like Paddington Bear! I have found websites where I can order hats for my big head, but I am unwilling to pay three times what everyone else pays just because my head is large. Because summer is coming I decided, again, to buy a bunch of hats knowing none would probably fit. This hat is the first that came, and it fits!!! ILOVE it!!! I was so happy I almost cried!

Terrific quality and much better than I expected and am pleasantly surprised!The fiber weave is thick, well woven and the ribbon is a true ribbon.The ponytail notch is ideal and wide enough for my hair.Came in a protective bag and large box so was undamaged by shipping.High recommend this hat!

I have a big head and thick hair, one-size-fits-all hats are way too small and I have to yank them on and tolerate them riding up, if I can get them on at all, and that's with my hair down; you can forget about having dutch braids or a low pony, or any hairstyle that isn't perfectly flat to the head. I bought this hat because it came in actual hat sizes, and I'm so happy with my purchase! Not only does it fit, but there's room at the crown, so I can braid my hair up at the top of my head, pop this hat on, and look like a modern-but-cottagecore Anne of Green Gables historybounder. Not only does this hat fit great, but it's made of a nice, heavy, definitely not cheap-feeling faux straw material, that has a ton of give and flex to it, and it bounces back into shape immediately. You can pull this hat right out of the plastic bag and it's ready to wear. The hat comes with some hat size reducer foam stick-on pads, which I obviously don't need, but it's nice that they've thought of everyone's different needs to include it. The chin strap is good quality and soft, and is removable because it's attached by little clips. The bow is glued on, which isn't ideal, I had hoped it was sewn on so that I could easily remove it and swap it out with a variety of silk scarves to change up my look quickly. I haven't taken a star off for that, as I believe it won't be too difficult to remove nevertheless, and the bow it comes with is very pretty. I just love it!!

Came in perfect condition. I got a size large because I have a big head and hats tend to be tight on me. This fits but could be just a teeny tiny tighter but it was best to go with the large than medium. Comes with inserts to make it tighter if you need and a optional neck strap. This is going to work perfect for lounging on the beach or strolling around town. Exactly as pictured! Highly recommend.

I like this hat so much! It's such a great deal for the price. I've been looking for hats for a few weeks now & i'm glad I ended up settling with this one. Affordable and good quality. It also seems to do a decent job of shading the face.

This is a wonderful hat, much better quality than expected. It is slightly snug on me, as I wear a 58 to 59cm riding helmet, though I expected this based on the description. It works fine still and has loosened slightly. It has the perfect size brim to be fashionable and protect, but not so large as to be floppy or deformed. Most impressive to me was when we were stuck in a downpour on the lake. My daughter's hat of another brand became warped and will need to be steamed and reshaped, while this hat held form through the soaking rain and dried as good as new. It also handled being rolled and packed in a suitcase with no adverse affects. I've never thought this kind of hat looked good, but this one is perfect and I love it.

I love this hat. I bought it for a trip to Mexico and wore it all over the place. It's really cute and comfortable, and the wide brim provides perfect shade for my face and eyes, which is great since my eyes are pretty sensitive to bright sunlight. The chin strap held the hat in place on windy days, so I didn't have to worry about chasing my hat down the street or across some Mayan ruins!I don't know how it holds up to folding/packing, since I decided to wear it on the plane to make sure it wouldn't get creased or damaged. I did the same for the many long bus rides I took. It was easy to hang the hat from the seat-back in front of me, or from my knee if there was nothing else to hang it from.The only bad thing about this hat is that it can really obstruct your field of vision A LOT, especially if you are looking down as you walk. I bonked my head into a low balcony that was overhanging a public sidewalk because I didn't see it (I'm not blaming the hat-- it's my own fault for not watching where I was walking! Plus I am over 6 feet tall, so a shorter woman probably would've walked right under it with no problem). As a result, I gave myself a nice knot on my forehead as a souvenir. LOL

Having lost my hair due to chemotherapy I was looking for a sun hat that I could wear over a scarf. This one has the gap at the back that allows me to tie the scarf and for the hat to sit as it should. I love the fact that it is adjustable as I have a small head. When I wear this I don't feel like a cancer patient just like me again. Well made hat and quick delivery .

Love this hat! It fitted as expected without adjustment and survived being squashed in a suitcase for a long haul flight.Tip: Fold it at the sides rather than at the bow. That way, if you need to put the hat on straight away after unpacking, there won't be a crease at the front. Don't let that put you off, it just needs a little time to relax after being compressed.Can't wait for summer to come so I can wear it more

Really good quality, I must say. Now that the spring and summer is here, the heat usually causes me chronic migraine but it happens much less and milder after I use this at all time.Some information: it comes with chin tie and the hat is adjustable. Colour is slightly darker than on the picture.

Arrived very quickly, I am delighted with this sun hat, I always struggle to get any kind of hat to fit, as I have a very small head, and usually have to sew tucks all around the inner rim, not any more, it has a loop pull cord inside to adjust for fit, just give it a pull, and viola, perfect fit. I have recently had skin cancers cut out of my face, so have to keep it out of the sun in future, the hat has a wide brim at the front which does the job perfectly. It is really well made, and good quality, and at a great price too, I can highly recommend.

Was das Aussehen betrifft, ist dieses Stück eine 10 von 10.Zwei Dinge kann ich diesem Kopfschmuck aber nicht lassen und diese sind für die schlechte Bewertung verantwortlich:Nummer Eins:Er ist unhandlich und wenn man ihn abziehen und gerade nicht tragen möchte gibt es keine Möglichkeit ihn zusammen zu falten oder komfortabel zu verstauen oder zu tragen. Fahrrad fahren? Keine Chance.Der Hut wird auch als faltbar beschrieben.Ich weiß nicht, ob es da eine bestimmt Falttechnik gibt, aber ich habe es nicht hinbekommen.Nummer Zwei:Das Band im Inneren des Huts, welches für die Größenverstellung ist, ist sehr schmal und hält an dem kurzen Klettbereich nur ganz schlecht und ich musste es dauerhaft mit einer Sicherheitsnadel befestigen. Selbst diese wollte jedoch nicht immer halten oder hing gerne mal im Haar.Ohne diese Schnur wäre mir dieser Hut jedoch zu groß und ich bin auf sie angewiesen. Das ist ein ewiger Kampf.Diese zwei Dinge haben mir meinen Urlaub auf Sizilien in manchen Momenten sehr schwer gemacht, da ich natürlich auch Städte besichtigt habe und viel unterwegs war.Wenn es darum geht, einen schönen Hutschmuck für ein Fotoshooting oder für eine kurzzeitige Veranstaltung (ohne Coronasituation...lach..) zu tragen, ist dieser Hut definitiv die richtige Wahl!Leider hier nur wenige 2 von 5 Sternen.Ich bitte zu beachten, dass diese Rezension durch persönliche Erfahrung entstanden ist und somit rein subjektiv ist.Liebe GrüßeL
