Buy this book, live better
As a chef I love this book. It's true, a lot of times we in the food service over look our own healthy choices we provide for the patrons in favor of convenience. This book is written by a chef that found out that it's easy to eat healthy by making simple adjustments and taste better too. I mean simply adding flavorings to food while they cool lets the food absorb the flavors. This works especially well with vegetables and even better with pasta. The learning didn't stop there, a lot of things I'd cook at home that I wouldn't cook at work such as breakfast are included so I can eat well all the time. Just a great book that's a enjoyable read.

Get this book!
This book is wonderful - and I can't stand cook books! I originally found it as a result of one of the recipes being published on a website. That recipe quickly turned into my family's favorite dinner. When I went back to get the website for a friend, I followed the links to find that it belonged to this book. I have cooked/prepared about 15 of the recipes in here, and have loved every one. Some require a bit of preparation, which makes it difficult for after-work time, but it's so worth it. The flavors, and knowing that there are health benefits with the ingredients chosen make up for the time spent doing prep work.

Everyday can be a Goid Food Day
This is my new favorite cookbook! Finally, healthy food options created by a chef so everything tastes great. I especially like that Marco reformed his way of eating so he's lived the struggle. I have tried several from each chapter and i found them all to be fairly easy to prepare and the ingredients were readily available. There is some pre-workinvolved in cooking grains so be mindful of that and plan ahead.

Healthier family fare
I liked the approach of this cookbook. If you have multiple food needs in your family, this is a book to check out. There are several gluten-free recipes here, including some baking ones. There are also some non-gluten-free recipes as well that look tasty. (I'm gluten intolerant.) My boyfriend's kids (ages 5 & 8) will eat the recipes I've tried without complaints.

Reading it makes me feel good
I buy a lot of similar books and this one is really the best overall. I'm looking for a healthy lifestyle I can sustain and enjoy; this book has the logical and balanced view and a philosophy that feels right. I want to eat and be healthy, but not so stringent I can't enjoy life. I do believe you can live healthy and feel content, satisfied and happy -- so does this guy. I'll keep this book close by.

A cookbook you'll read and cook from!
Yum. My only suggestion is that the title should actually be a GREAT Food Day. In this world of online recipes, I don't buy cookbooks as much as I used to but this one is a winner. Great inspiration and delicious recipes that I'm already trying and serving to family and friends.

This book will get your healthy eating back on track and do it painlessly by making it delicious.
This book is full of great, healthy recipes that are easy to prepare from food commonly found. It follows a good, common sense way to eat that is healthy but tastes great. The author encourages us to use his recipes as a template and change ingredients according to season, personal tastes and ingredients on hand. The binding of the book arrived damaged but the recipes looked so good I didn't want to part with it, even for a few days. I've made spinach salad with roasted fennel and grapefruit and mushroom, barley and kale soup. Both were excellent. Beautiful photography of the recipes. I highly recommend this cookbook.

This book has plenty of options or it would be easy to adjust
I put off buying this cookbook for a long time and I decided to bite the bullet. I don't eat a lot of grains and I was looking for ways to incorporate more veggies into my diet. I should not have worried. This book has plenty of options or it would be easy to adjust. And what amazing ideas and flavor combinations. Marco Canora is a great chef!
