Works great, but clean the air tubing gently
Love how they work, but after it had been in the tank for a while I was surprised that it crumbled apart when I was cleaning the air tubing. Fortunately I had another when that happened because the one that broke was unusable. I’ll be more careful when I’m removing algae from the air tubing next time!

Some air-diffusers are good; Most are bad; and very few are excellent. After having tested many air-diffusers I can tell you with certainty that Bubblemac air-diffusers are EXCELLENT!!! Take that combined with the fact they are made in the USA and they have top-notch customer service and it may be impossible to find any better products and company to deal with.These little jewels work great for their tiny size. In fact, better than the cheap imports that are bigger. Just be aware to use the correct size diffuser for the correct size tank. So if you're using these mini diffusers you may want to use both in a single tank dependent on how large your tank is.

Not worth the extra cost for aquarium use
These might be good for other uses where you would clean the stones in muriatic acid and reuse over and over. I juts have a simple air pump and a stone on the end of the tubing to aerate an aquarium. Bubbles are only coming out of the top part of the stone and it has already started to grow algae on it after a week. I guess for the price difference over the cheap stones, I expected a huge stream of fine bubbles. Nothing impressive about these and I can buy a dozen or more of the cheapies for what I paid for 2 of these.

The bubbles aren't quite small enough to be very effective in a protein skimmer. Although this is the best air stone I have ever purchased. They don't deteriorate at all, and put out a large volume of bubbles.

The remaining piece of stone crumbled easily in my fingers with little effort
NOT "Forever" ! Lasted four uses, then broke in half in the water. I was using this on tubing connected to a small ozone generator to clean fruits and veggies. I bought it because it was supposed to last and not leech minerals or impurities into the water. During the fifth use, I saw a bunch of crystals in the bottom of the jar of water. The "forever" stone had broken apart and only about half of the stone was left. I had not dropped it or damaged it any way. The remaining piece of stone crumbled easily in my fingers with little effort.
