Bergen Industries SG-200 Wire Keyless Lamp Guard Replacement Cage, Small, 10-Pack

I bought the 10-pack of these for my basement. I purchased a few of the "Pass & Seymour 272CC18 Porcelain Keyless Lamp Holder" to mount these to, they fit very well onto these fixtures because of the recessed groove around the neck. I have fit these around a 20-watt CFL (75 watt equivalent, 1100 lumens) bulb. They can be a bit tricky to install, just because the screws are so short and I have big fingers. You only need a philips screwdriver to put them on. Another review complained about the color, so just to clarify, they are zinc coated....yellow zinc. Not brass, not silver. If you don't like the yellow zinc, spray paint them whatever color you want. The zinc is to help prevent rust.

We spray-painted these cages and used with standard pendant light kits for an industrial light fixture in our living area and bedrooms. They are functional, and look similar to fixtures costing many times as much. Also very functional when used with a porcelain lampholder as a budget utility room/closet fixture.The small size is a tight fit on some fixtures, but was large enough to accept 25 watt (100 watt equivalent) CFL bulbs.

These bulb cages are a bargain BUT the finish was pretty bad. I bought them with the understanding that I wanted a more weathered/antiqued patina. After putting them through an "aging" process, they came out perfect.

These fit on any type of bulb base. They are very bendable to adapt to just about anything. I am pleased.
