The glass channels the fire up and doesn't allow the flames to blow out the sides of the fire pit when the wind blows

Well worth the extra dough
Very pleased with this wind blocker. There orginal blocker was oblong instead of oval and very thin. This is quite the opposite. Very sturdy perfectly shaped with metal feet allowing the firepit to breathe. This is a winner and well worth the money.

This arrived quickly, was packaged well to protect from any damage in transit, and was super easy to assemble. Very pleased

Looks nice but I would add temporary painters tape between usage.
The glass guard looks nice when on the fire pit but when it’s on it produces less heat. It’s not what I expected so I’m returning it
