I'm sure this is a perfectly functioning bushing. There's some confusion in the Q&As on the product page whether this comes as a pair or a single piece. It comes as a single piece. There are other brands with identical part that come in a pair for way cheaper than buying two of these.I returned it in exchange for a pair of the other ones.

Fit my 2004 SAturn Ion 2
The product was a good replacement for the OEM bushing, maybe a bit stiffer (a good thing for me), and half the cost. Installation for a pair of them was the usual all afternoon, roll on the floor under the car and get dirty project. The new bushings eliminated the clunk from the rear of my 2004 Saturn Ion 2 caused by the originals having worn out and become very soft. I'm more than satisfied!
