Good for low use in spill hazard area
Purchased for use in an industrial setting near water. Typing feedback is not great, but acceptable for my purpose. Extra force is needed for keystrokes to overcome the resistance of the silicone keys. Touchpad is better than expected. Pad is on the small side, but works well (including pinch zoom and scroll). Adjustable LED back lighting on the keys is a nice touch.

Maybe it's waterproof, but it's also SPEED-proof and control-proof.
I went for this cause it's compact, will fit on a lapdesk with its built in trackpad, and it's NOT Bluetooth. I built this particular workstation around 2010 and it does not have integrated BTooth support. What you can't glean from the pics and the description is the keys feel like you're typing in molasses. I'm no Samurai typist, that's for sure, but man oh man, this is SLOW SLOW SLOW. Every key literally has like a 1 second rebound rate, so get ready toT - Y - P - EL - I - K - ET - H - I - S.Another thing I am not impressed with is, the built-in trackpad, (which I was really looking forward to cause I use a lapdesk and I loved that it's compact) in my Win 7 Pro Control Panel>Mouse controls, has no "Magic Trackpad" interface that allows me to TURN OFF "Tap to Click". This track pad, while kind of convenient cause it's self-contained, is VERY touchy, and I'm always opening stuff I DON'T wanna open and dragging stuff I DON'T wanna drag, cause I CAN'T TURN OFF "Tap to click". (BTW I always keep that disabled, even when I work with excellent feel trackpads, which this one is not. But it works.)Also the Page UP - DOWN feature does not work in a Windows Explorer window that displays files in a List, Details or Icons view. The page up-down feature DOES work in a Word document. The Backlit feature is kind of useless cause the light does NOT show the keys and letter designations, so in the dark you see a bright cutout in the shape of the keyboard but you still have no idea which keys are which. But I didn't return it cause the price is fair and I can deal with it until I get something better. Wanna type on something that feels like a dream? Try a Logitech K740 illuminated whisper model. It's like Heaven. But it's TOO BIG for a lap desk with a trackball added.

No more Eggsnow keyboards for me...
This is my first Eggsnow keyboard ... and it will be my last. I wanted a waterproof, sealed keyboard. The number pad rarely works. Even if you go really slow and punch one key with one finger and then move slowly across - half of the numbers won't be there when you finish. In addition, it seems that some of the keys function like 'sticky keys' and repeat the letter or number you are typing ... even if you are not holding the key down. My laptop is set up to disable the touchpad. But this keyboard doesn't recognize that, so I have to fight the touchpad, as well. It is a nice looking, small footprint keyboard, but for as much typing as I have to do, I can't deal with these issues.

don't like giving negative reviews and rarely give reviews
this keyboard was advertised as quiet, not so - some of the keys make an unusual clicking sound and the keys are difficult to type on especially for an efficient and rapid typist. Sure was hoping this was what was advertised, don't like giving negative reviews and rarely give reviews...was shipped in short order which was nice to see.

rugged problem solver
CAVEAT: My keyboard has a high-pitch whine when plugged into a USB3 port, but I use it rarely so not a big deal. I don't know if this is just my unit, so read other reviews. This keyboard is part of my field tools for all work sites now. Has saved my bacon numerous times working with data loggers and other harsh environment Computers. hasn't broken yet after rough abuse and use. great for machine shop/kitchen/outdoor use. Used in pounding rain with no problems or concerns.

Water proof/resistant that may be good for work with others. Touchpad really nice idea wish was in practice more.
I wanted to like the product. The sealed keyboard might be nice, but it is squishy and a little less the positive if your use to keys clicking and reacting quickly. Can cause double hits of keys and slow typing from squishy and slow pushing keys due to rubber sealed keys. They touchpad is a little to overactive at best. Having to return mine as there is a short in the USB cable, probably were the cable meets the keyboard. Touchpad does not always work. When it does I would prefer it respond a little slower. Not sure if I can adjust the touchpad speed in Raspberry Pi OS's or not. Tried it on a Windows system and still worked intermittently at best due to short. Not sure if it deserves two or three starts but leaving at three, as I think it is a great idea if you also need one for work and don't want to share your germs with a keyboard that you can wipe and is somewhere between water proof/resistant.

They are very good industrial keyboards
Have purchased these in the past from Amazon. They are very good industrial keyboards. Have placed these in some rather harsh conditions on benches next to metal removal machines with a lot of water based coolant misting in the air.
