Perfect Bacon Bowl (Set of 3)

The Perfect Bacon Bowl is far from Perfect! I was very disappointed when I open the box and saw the size of the Bacon Bowls to begin with. Following the directions that came with these bowls I realized that cooking bacon in these bowls in the microwave would be a problem.....the grease would really pop all over the microwave unless the bowls were covered completely. In addition, the grease draining in the well of these bowls could spill out easily since the sides of bowls were very shallow. Without using a potholder or something similar, the Bacon Bowls were very hot to handle with the very short handle built onto the bowls. Cooking bacon in my oven wasn't better! I had the same problems that one had using the microwave, plus, I couldn't remove the cooked bacon bowls. The bacon was stuck to the bowls and trying to pry the cooked bacon off eventually destroyed the basket leaving pieces of bacon stuck on the Perfect Bacon Bowl! Returning this product to your company would have cost me more money than the original cost of these bowls! So, I am giving them to "Goodwill."

Neat concept. It was a good stocking stuffer for my 12 year old bacon lover but it takes some practice. Bacon does not cook evenly. We've learned that we need to lay the top bacon strips on and cook it a bit then wrap the side bacon on. Otherwise, the top is undercooked and the sides are overcooked.

Worthless piece of crap. Bowls melted and deformed. Highly recommend NOT buying this useless hunk of cheap plastic garbage. No wonder you don't see the advertisement on TV anymore. Total waste of money. Even if this "product " was given away you'd still get ripped off!

Bought this for a Christmas gift swap at work. The theme was "as seen on TV" and this was a hit! Who doesn't like bacon?! Luckily the person who received the perfect bacon bowl was nice enough to make me some bacon bowls filled with scrambled eggs. It was delicious!

Use the oven and these are great! Use the microwave and consider replacing teeth as the bacon on the edges is as hard as a rock! Nifty idea, and certainly a novelty, but still kinda fun!

These are HORRIBLE!! first of all they are very small.....!! Also they smell soooooo bad!!! they smell like burning plastic.. No matter how many times i have tried to wash them, they smell so bad that i am afraid to eat the bacon because it smells like burning plastic..!! Do not buy!!

Works as advertised. Any product that makes it easier to enjoy bacon gets 4 stars from me. The inventor should be put up for a Nobel Peace Prize for advances in Bacon Technology!. I'm sure that's a sub-category of quantum physics (or should be). It comes in plain OEM packaging so it's much cheaper here than on the infomercial.

Works better if the oven method is used. The bacon shrinks too much in the microwave. I haven't tried making bread bowls with it yet so will have to update after that. It is a cute idea for the bacon bowl, but how do you eat it filled with egg mixture without it falling apart. Just as easy to have scrambled eggs on the side of a serving of bacon.
