Took my phone in the Caribbean Sea... for 3-4 hours total for the day. The case did keep my phone dry until maybe the fourth hour-ish. I noticed water inside the case towards the bottom corner. I wasn't to concerned, as my phone is water resistant. Overall, when in the pool or swimming in the Sea, it worked great! Picture & video quality was excellent under water. Only problem was when I tried to take pictures while the screen was wet or my fingers were wet, I had a difficult time using my phone and out of the water-the pictures were blurry. I had To either wait for the camera area dry off or take the phone completely and it of the case. Which brings me to trying to get the phone out of the case was a chore. I am glad the case is sealed tight... it was just a pain to remove the phone from the case.When using your phone & the case is wet was also a pain. I had problems trying to use any options on my phone. My phone wouldn’t register what my fingers were trying to do. I had To wait until my hand were dry in order to use the screen on my phone.Overall-the case does keep your phone dry. Long periods of water time-Just keep watching to make sure no leaks. I do Believe there is a warning regarding depth & length of time in the water.

Bought this phone case for my son for when he is out kayaking and it works great! He has even put it under water to take pictures of fish. It seals tight as along as you make sure to walk your fingers all the way around the seal to make sure it is all closed up. When you get the case there is instructions on how to do a water test before you use the case, follow those steps trust me you will feel a lot more comfortable in knowing it works under water.

CAUTION... This is a great case :-). Ok so this case was better than I expected. For me I just wanted a case more so that would keep water off the phone while in the water for long periods of time while swimming or jet skiing (30+ mins). The case did that and kept water out successfully. The pictures posted were inside the case for the iPhone XMAX in portrait mode no edit at all. I didn’t get to test it underwater recording/picture yet. Case size is on the large size (great ergonomics) but I’m a male with large hands so that didn’t bother me much. I left my screen protector on my phone screen before placing it into the case and it worked just fine. Over 5hrs of in and out of the water, in and out of my pocket and this case was good to go.

So I bought this case because I was looking to protect my phone and have flexibility to not worry about water or dust. However the first water test showed some water drops inside, i redid the test and no water the sealing around the edges must be perfect and exact. so i put my phone in the case and the camera port on the back side of the case kinda bulges out so, i don't believe that that part is water sealed. The twisty knob, screw that you use to change from silent mode the seal around that is clearly not water sealed. I do not trust this case do to those water seals. I tried the case for a few days and I noticed that no one on the other end of calls can hear me. defeats the point of cell phone calling. the port to charge your phone only works on the OG lightning cable that comes with the phone but that will take you about 4 mins to open the rubber to get at the port. I later noticed that the were little specs on my screen of my phone. I opened the case and there was dust on my screen, this means that the phone case works about 0%. I'm seeking a refund, for this product

Cons:It makes my phone very wide so My phone won’t fit in any cellphone holder or Qi charger for car with this. That being said I was planning to use it all year around but I’ll have to buy another case for that if I need the gps in my car. It overheats the phone if you use it under the sun in hot days.After a week using it it’s full of scratches at the front and my old one from a different brand is scratch free after 2 years.The charge port is easy to break since is glued in place overtime I’m sure it’s gonna break.It’s not cute.There is no protection of the back or front glass it you drop on a surface that is not even.Pros:It looks pretty safe to use underwater and protects phone from dirt and snow too.I drop the phone twice from about 4 feet and the phone is fine. It was in a carpet floor tho.I’m sure the phone would be fine if I drop in the pool.Have lanyard holes.Protects the lenses for the camera very well.All that been said is up to your usage if you want this one or not. For my usage I cannot have that as my only case.

It’s a great item besides make it nice and so you can type it is perfectly what do you have already dropped it from like 10 feet up and nothing happened to my phone. The only thing is there is the little knob on the side that you can put your phone on silent don’t pull that out I had to use the one I bought for my wife until I’m able to buy a new one because I broke but I’ll Devon that is a perfect I am I will recommend it to everyonePerfect because I am a volunteer firefighter

This is an awesome iPhone protective case. It takes good photos with the case on . I think it’s great for a vacation but not for everyday use. My main reason for buying this case was for vacation and I had put the case on my phone to try it out and then realized it’s hard to get off so I left it one for a few days to try out. It wouldn’t be a case I could use everyday but it serves it’s purpose for being extremely study and nothing will get inside this case. Great price and great protection for iPhone !

Unbelievable how good this case is, it’s decent price, thumb print works good, sound works good through it, and the life proof is unbelievable, I lost my phone while tracking a deer In a snow storm and came back the next day to track it with another phone and found it covered in snow and it saved my phone!!!!
