I am happy with this purchase. Out of the box the machining and finish are of high quality. Assembly is straightforward. My first observation was the awful smell coming from the box - that cheap, chinese rubber used on both the mounting liners and the padding on the forks. I absolutely hate that smell (I left a harbor freight wheel chock made of the same material in my car overnight once - stunk up the car for a week), but once the unit is installed, I never smelled it again. Not worth dinging the unit a whole star for, so it gets 5 stars.Yesterday was the first day on the lake. The kneeboard and wakeboard stayed put the whole time, even at 50mph and hitting some good bumps throughout the day. Placement and removal were pretty easy. Although the bungee is a little long as many have pointed out, better that than too short. The design of the mounting plate allows for easy wrapping of the bungee to take up any slack to keep proper tension.Very happy with performance. Exactly as I had hoped.

Great tower! Makes my jet boat look awesome and edgy! It frees up my floor locker by hanging the kneeboard and wakeboard! Super easy install and easy to use! I don't suggest traveling with boat on travel with the kneeboard and/or wakeboard attached to this combo tower rack! Especially on highways and high speeds. the wind will shake up the boards and twist and turn them. My boards never fell off thank GOD but I learned real quick to bring those aboard before road travels. The boards are just fine onboard and attached to the tower when boating We didn't have any problems of them moving about then.

Pretty well made it seems, but you really have to tighten it a lot, and potentially over several times as the rubber gaskets shrink a bit over time.

I had a warranty problem, and they gladly took care of the problem. I have purchased multiple items including speaker cases, a different wakeboard holder and a Bimini top for my boat. These products are great values have never had an issue. I have been to their shipping location in Texas as well and their service is the same in person. Good products, good people.

These cannot be mounted on a horizontal bar! I installed it on my cobalt and it looked great. However, when I added the boards, 2 min into the first boat ride they were twisting down and one of the boards fell out and dinged up my gelcoat. Customer service said everything has to work perfectly for them to be mounted on a horizontal bar, and they only recommend mounting on a vertical bar, which looks horrible in my opinion. I had to drill and tap through the bracket into the tower bar to keep from slipping. After that modification I have been happy with it.

The jaws for the kneeboard are too wide and the fingers too short to hold a kneeboard securely. Because the fingers are so short the kneeboard rocks down to the point you couldn't put a wake board beneath it. The middle fingers should be longer but the aren't even half the width of kneeboard. Seems like solid construction, but it is poorly designed and near useless as a kneeboard rack, which is what I bought it for. Plus I ordered a "Krypt" rack and was sent an "Origin" rack. They appear to be similar only the Origin rack is less expensive, so I didn't really even get what I paid for. The Origin rack is made in China, (as I suspect all of Krypt's products are can't say for sure since they didn't send the product I ordered) though some of Krypt's descriptions attempt to suggest otherwise.

It does exactly what its supposed to. Several sizes of rubber gaskets came with the rack to fit various sizes of wakeboard towers. That was nice. Unfortunately i picked the wrong one on my first install and the rack kept twisting on the tower. Changed the gasket to the next size up and bingo, works like a champ. The only draw back could be the bungee that holds the boards on is a little long. Not really a problem at all though.

Doesn't fit well and hard to mount.
