Easy and secure mount, works fine

Fits my phone well. So far I've just used the vent clip because it's stronger than any other I've used. It's been a couple months now and it still fits nicely. It was easy to set up and I could use the dash part but I have a few other things up there already. Plus my phone hasn't fallen once from the vent one, and I'm the type of driver who tells my passengers I'm not responsible for unsecured objects once I start moving. 😂

I bought this to use with my 2014 Kia Soul, and I have been very pleased with the purchase. It comes with the clip to use on the a/c vents or a suction cup you can use on the windshield or the dash. We put ours on the dashboard, and it is very sturdy. You can easily put your phone in it and it feels very secure. We use ours with various phones including smaller iphones and some very large Android phones, and they all fit well. I have not used the clip, so I can't say how well it works, but I would imagine it works very well. I have had several holders, and this one is one of the better ones I have ever used. It feels of high quality, and has lasted me several years. As with most other holders, it can sometimes block my view a little, but that completely depends on where you mount it and how tall you are.

I purchased this phone car mount in 2019 and used the suction cup to attach it to my dashboard. I live in Southern California and the inside of my car gets HOT. The suction cup did melt a little soon after installation, but the suction stayed strong and it continued to do a great job of keeping my phone somewhere easy to see. The mount is very adjustable so you can position your phone exactly as you'd like, and it's easy to change up as needed. For the past six years this mount has served me well. This summer the heat took its final toll on the car mount and it stopped suctioning to my dashboard. Six years was a pretty good run, and I was happy to purchase another from the same company. But the rest of the parts were still in fine working condition and I hate being wasteful so I contacted Vicseed to see if I could purchase just the piece with the silicon suction cup. They responded right away that yes, I could, but then went a step further and offered to replace the part for free. That kind of customer service is pretty rare these days. True to their word, they sent out a replacement part and my phone mount is once again happily installed on my dashboard. I will be a loyal customer of theirs for all of my phone mount needs from now on!

Purchased this for Colorado's hands-free law update regarding cell phones when driving. Most of the time the suction cup portion of the mount will stay affixed to the windshield however with even minor to moderate temperature variations of 15° or more the suction cup will come loose, and it will happen even when you're driving which can of course be a potential hazard. It also comes with a vent mount clip if you prefer that instead and in my experience that might be great for summer months when you've got air conditioner blowing on your phone to be able to keep it cold so the battery won't overheat but in winter months when you're actually using your heater... That's just going to make your phone overheat that much faster especially with hard plastic or durable rubber cases like OtterBoxes which are already black and absorb a lot of heat... Also worth noting that the vent clip even when fully secured and tightened down the phone tilts significantly and depending on your vehicle layout there might not be a way to mount it safely on a vent that doesn't require you to take your eyes off the road to look at the screen which of course completely defeats the point. It gets the job done but it's not without its issues. Surprisingly it is quite durable considering how many times it's fallen off my windshield while driving with my phone in it and the plastic still has not broken thankfully. As far as compatibility goes I initially purchased it back when I had a Galaxy s22 Ultra in an OtterBox defender and it would hold the phone just fine and now I've got an S25 Ultra in an OtterBox defender and it still fits just fine. Regardless of the setup you choose it's relatively easy to mount either way, you just have to figure out what works for you.

This is the best car phone holder I’ve seen. I have tried several different ones and they always end up falling or breaking. This one is made very well and holds better than any other. I definitely recommend.
