Excellent blade for cutting 1/4" thick ceramic tiles
I went through a bunch of less durable blades for cutting 1/4" thick ceramic tiles. I was amazed how slow & difficult this process was. I googled "best hacksaw blade for cutting ceramic tile" & got dozens of confusing results. I even tried "what is the best hacksaw tpi for cutting ceramic tile?" but this led to more chaos. On Amazon I saw lots of blades that claimed to cut ceramic tile. Many of them were sold in packs of 6 or more & seemed more economical. But how well would they really work? I did some research & finally decided on this Disston Remgrit blade & I am so glad I did. It sliced through my tiles so much easier than all my previous blades. If you are cutting something thicker than 1/4" ceramics or if you are cutting porcelain or other really hard materials, I can't guarantee how well this blade would work.

Didn't fit but easy to file down
Didn't fit my Lenox hacksaw frame out of the box. The length was right but the width got in the way.But it only took me about 10 min with a file to get it down to size so not complaining. The blade itself works fine. I'm using it to cut new saw teeth before switching to a saw file.

I bought this to do cuts in ceramic tile at ...
I bought this to do cuts in ceramic tile at electrical outlets, switches and other various obstacles for a kitchen backsplash. I thought it would wear out quickly, but it did not. It fit my hacksaw frame, it worked well (slow, but that's to be expected for hand cutting tile) and lasted through the whole job, cutting just as well at the end as at the beginning.

Very happy with these.
Slicing through tool steel with ease? Priceless.CON: The angle to the longer potion just south of attachment hole had to be ground away a little bit to work with my hacksaw. This was not a problem for me with my well equipped shop, but might be a problem for people that don't.
