I purchased The Best 8 Pack Liquid Chalk Markers to use with the wall calendar that I just purchased. Liquid Chalk Markers were recommended for this type of calendar that I purchased. The reviews for this product were good so I decided to try them out. I'm glad I did because they work very well. The pack comes with 8 markers in your primary colors which gives me a variety and lets me change up the colors I use on the calendar. I can have certain colors to represent certain events for members of the family.Based on the product description, they are 6mm chisel tips that give smooth and consistent writing without blobs of ink spilling out. I have to agree with that. When I used them to write on the calendar, it did not leave any messy spots with blobs of the liquid chalk markers on it. If I made a mistake in what I was writing, it was very easy to wipe off with a wipe or wet paper towel. When you first use them, the tips of the markers are white (see picture of tips). You have to shake the marker and then press the tip down on a test area and gently pump the marker until the liquid chalk saturates the tip. This was very easy and quick to do to start using them. I am very happy that I purchased these and will put these to good use for my calendar and any other needs that I find.

These write great! They did not come with instructions. I know why would they? Well the markers come with the tips on upside down. I tried to write with them like that and the chalk ink came flooding out all over my hand and board. I lost about half the ink from the orange because of this. Then I noticed the tips looked weird so I pulled one out and it was obviously on upside down . I changed them all and have no problems with them now. They write wonderfully and are bright and sharp. I love them now.

I purchased these, as well another brand of chalk markers and these were by far the superior product. The colors are very vibrant and don't fade on the chalkboard. I made a chalkboard sign for my sons first day of kindergarten in August, and now, over a month later, the colors are still just as bright as they were the day I made it.I read where some reviewers were saying that it wouldn't come off of their chalkboard without leaving a stain. I had no trouble with this. I used a wet paper towel, and every bit of the color came off with minimal rubbing. The only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars, is the very long wait/process it takes for the product to reach the marker tip the first time you use them. I can see how if you weren't very careful, you could damage the tip, and therefore, have a less than ideal result. That being said, after this initial process, they are super easy to use.

I loved these markers! I had originally bought 4 off brand white chalk markers and couldn't get the ink back off of my chalkboard wall sticker. After buying these, we found out if we used these to color over the white, it would wipe right off. Not only are they a beautiful color, they also removed the cheapy white chalk ink. They are a little harder to prime, but well worth it. As long as you know what you are doing when you prime a marker, you'll have no problem at all!

They're ok.. the orange does not write well. It's very liquidy and when it dries it ends up kind of translucent not a full opaque color that you want even after shaking very well. In fact red and yellow are kind of like that just in lesser degree. I haven't tried the pink so I don't know. The markers work and wipe off very easily but I expected a full color application on all the colors Would not buy again.

Use it along with the black board that I bought this one for. It writes good - although some pens write better than others. Otherwise, for the price I can't complain.

These markers were terrible. As I was making a chalkboard sign there was chalk dripping everywhere! Truly a mess! They also bubbled up and then I had to go over the lines twice, which made the writing look messy. Don't bother ordering these. I am sending my back today.

I bought these for my contact paper chalk board.. THE ONLY COLOR THAT SHOWED WAS WHITE. Waste of my money and don't feel like going through the process to repackage and resend.
