Loved the book..its amazing for beginners.

The book is wonderful and I highly recommend it. However, the seller sent me a used book when I paid for a New one. The spine is creased, a page was folded down, there is some dirt inside the front cover and on the first page, and worst of all there was a long black hair stuck between the pages. No one in my home has long black hair btw.... So that was pretty gross. I should've returned it but truth be told I was impatient to start reading it. It is a great book, whether you are a new or experienced tarot reader.

I love the book, but please don’t buy from this seller. The copy I is received is damaged in the spine, and the last few pages crumpled. I like my books in good condition, so this is unfortunate.

I didn't find this book helpful to me. It has focused more on description of the cards, symbolism and all. It lacks experience.

Just recieved the book and read the first chapter. Easy read and informative. Will update once I finish reading the book. I took 2 stars from the rating because the book came torn . Since I cherish my books a lot, recieving a torn book doesn't make me happy.

Really enjoying reading the book with its analysis of each card. Very insightful. It’s helping me understand each card better. The book is also helping me in getting each card of the tarot deck closer to understanding the cycles of my own life.

Beautiful and insightfully written, this is the classic tarot book where Rachel Pollock - to my knowledge as the first - divided the Major Arcana in three, separated the Court cards from the Minor Arcana and opened up the readings to encompass a vast array of meaning and interpretations. Wonderful explanations and truly wise, this is a treasure to cherish for a lifetime.

Fascinating and comprehensive history and information about tarot cards. Very happy I bought this book.

El libro me ayudó más que un curso que tomé de tarotismo, es práctico, va directo a los escenarios y su posible interpretación y no le pone ninguna tendencia esotérica como es la costumbre con esta herramienta. Si te quieres ayudar a tí mismo, unas cartas de Tarot y este libro son de gran ayuda, lo recomiendo.

Somewhat helpful, but the author's obsession with gender makes it an ordeal to go through. The book was written from a perspective of schooling people about how women are oppressed, rather than the neutral approach needed to teach objectively (and in particular, needed to understand the amoralistic nature of tarot's occult knowledge). This unfortunately takes away from a lot of the cards' meaning, especially when it comes to the major arcana.
