This works BUT you have to commit and do the work-this is sustainable
FASterway to fat loss and its core components have been transformational. The book confirms and deepens what I have learned through two rounds in the FASterway and the process of becoming a coach. The book is very clear in explaining the key components that are research based-the why and the how. Why do we intermittent fast, how to implement it...why do we carb cycle, how to start. Etc Amanda is very clear that we need community to be successful and I fully agree-thousands of women agree! You can see in the book that this has been a process for many years or research and beta testing to get the FASterway “formula.” I was a chronic under water and over exerciser. I indulged in food at times and then would punish myself in the gym. I joined fasterway to fat loss under an amazing coach that encouraged me and taught me how to eat, what to eat, and when to eat. We eat real foods (whole food nutrition in the book). The book talks about cutting gluten and dairy as well-including the why.I see this book as a way to get started AND/OR continue tightening up or learning more. I learned several practices that I can apply to the foundation of what I already know. I believe the book is a great resource (intended to be used alongside the program) not to replace the online community/accountability.Amanda has done all the research for you! She has cut through the clutter of the marketplace and clearly outlined how to lose fat while remaining healthy. The goal isn’t just to lose fat-it is to become the healthiest person you can be.She is also very clear in the book that you have to put in the work. You have to try things out, make this adaptable for you and your lifestyle. This is a lifestyle change.I highly recommend the book if you want to join the FASterway OR if you want to learn more about the amazing health benefits of intermittent fasting, whole food nutrition, counting macros, carb cycling, and strategic workouts. A book to build a FOUNDATION & KICKSTART your health!
Firstly, let me tell you that I have done the program and for that, I give it 100 gold stars and you can just look at my photo and know that it works. I’m here to tell you about the book- I read through it all in one day- even going through the program and now coaching- I STILL learned something new!This book is extremely helpful if you want to have a FOUNDATION to start from. It not only tells you what intermittent fasting and carb cycling is but WHY it works. For someone like me, I can tell you that knowing the WHY is extremely important. I followed Amanda on social media for 2 years and told myself that I could do this on my own. 2 years where I spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on workout equipment, programs, videos, meal plans, etc. because I thought I could do it on my own. I was wrong. This book will give you the why, the science behind the program, and will provide you with examples of the types of exercise that we do, some delicious whole food recipes to get you started, and testimonials throughout the book! It again should be used as a foundation- really to KICKSTART you- to start making healthy changes immediately. Could you be successful with beginning a sustainable, healthy lifestyle with the principles of this book? Absolutely. Don’t hesitate. Spend the $12 bucks now.Do you need to follow up reading the book by signing up for the program? Your choice. 100%.But let me be an example for you- in less than 6 months I transformed both the inside (my relationship with food, the way I viewed myself, my confidence, trusting myself) and the outside (over 25lbs lost and a plethora of inches) and have continued to keep it off by enjoying a balanced, non restrictive lifestyle.Don’t hesitate to buy this book. Do it and you’ll find yourself underlining and highlighting and saying, “oh I didn’t know intermittent fasting did that!” and more. Start here. Then you can decide what your next step will be.

Do it for your health!
This is an amazing program that will change your life! It is not a diet. It's a completely sustainable lifestyle that will make you live your best life. And love your life! This book will introduce you to the FASTer Way and you will not be disappointed. It will break down the science behind the program to help you understand why it works. I did the 6 week program before I got this book. I wish I would have had it before because knowing the how and why would have helped me adapt even quicker, I think.Just to be clear, this is not going to tell you how to do the 6 week program. There's no way all of the science, schedules, workouts, community and accountability could be put into a book. That community and daily accountability was just as important for me as the nutrition and workouts. For some maybe that isn't so important but its not a reason to bash the book. And really, $200 is not a lot of money to pay for a program that teaches how to make sustainable changes to your life to better your health. I don't mind investing in something that really works. It just means I'm investing in myself and honestly, that's priceless.

No secrets revealed in this book!
This book was obviously meant to be a ‘teaser’ so one will pay into her ‘community’. I assumed it was meant to be informative, but it was organized poorly without any real info on how to use her ‘way of weight loss’. A lot of information about her personal life and how her ‘idea’ of this weight loss plan developed into a lucrative business plan. Again, I assume she would like me to spend the $200 to join her ‘community’ to get the practical information on her theory of diet changes, instructions on specific macros, how to incorporate carb cycling with fasting along with all particular exercises on particular days she mentioned. Not meant to be clear and instructive, just a teaser. Not worth the money. You can get all this information on the internet for free. She does not reveal her secrets in this book, you must pay a lot more for it.

A promotion for the programme, not a how to guide
Disappointed. The book is a promotion for the programme not a how to. All topics included in the book are interesting but I already knew all the information on carb cycling/ fasting etc. I wanted to know how to use them all together like the programme. But this book doesn’t show you that. It simply gives you an overview and then says we use this in the programme.. it doesn’t tell you how. A waste of money.

There is nothing useful in this book. It is a plug to join the very expensive, online program. Save your money!
