An absolutely beautiful monitor for the price
I’ve had the monitor for about a week at the time of writing this. Let me give you a quick pro/con list from my short usage: Pros: G-SYNC compatibility is SUCH a wonderful feature; 144hz is life-changing in terms of FPS’s and other competitive games; great brightness with no backlight bleed; super easy set-up with no tools required; intuitive menu that’s honestly pretty easy to use Cons: The monitor is very tall even at the lowest setting (I previously ran dual Acer R240HYs, another monitor I highly recommend) and doesn’t quite line up with my second monitor; text does look a little grainy but that’s what you get with a 27” 1080p monitor so really less of a complaint and more of a “make sure you know what you’re getting yourself into”; the brightness feels like overkill at times (more of a nitpick because I suffer from chronic migraines, but the lower settings don’t bother me); this thing is heavier than I thought it would be so make sure your desk is pretty stable; I wish it had a remote but that’s just me being lazy (I use it for both my PC and my Switch so it would be easier to switch inputs); speakers would be nice but they aren’t a necessity especially considering all the other features you get at this price I haven’t made use of HDR yet so I can’t comment on that. I really feel like LG hit the mark here at this price point. A great monitor that I don’t feel like you can go wrong with for $300.

Easily the Best 1080p Gaming Monitor
I love IPS panels. Their color accuracy and range is incredible and they look more true to life when compared to TN. While the advertising says 1ms it is important to know that NO IPS can do 1ms. However, as someone who has gamed on a TN panel before I can hardly tell the difference. So it's refreshing that this IPS monitor is incredible. It comes pre-calibrated from the factory so you don't have to and it looks stunning. it blew away my old IPS monitor that I used; 99% sRGB range is incredible. And I think this is exactly why despite being 27" it still manages to look good at 1080p. It comes free-sync and for me most importantly G-sync. Paired this with my 3700x and GTX1080 and every game looks smooth and stutter-free. As I said before this monitor is not 1ms but more like 4-6, it comes with a motion blur reduction thing but, don't use it. It adds ghosting to your images and makes twitchy movements nauseating. Plus, you can't use it with Free-sync or G-sync either so it's pointless. This monitor came with a 120hz out of the box at least for me. If you're using an Nvidia GPU make sure to set it to 144hz in the control panel. Speaking of which I was able to overclock this thing all the way up to 255hz, your mileage will vary but this thing surprised me. (it's also worth noting that apparently people get a message when you OC the refresh rate too high. I've never had this happen to me) High refresh rate is awesome though, especially in FPS. It's incredible how it helps you track and in my experience even helped me have better aim. It comes with HDR but do not get this for HDR. If you want to experience HDR look elsewhere. This is not 4k, it only has an 8bit panel instead of 10bit, and it has a peak brightness of only 350 nits. You need 1000 for HDR. All in all, this is an incredible monitor the only thing I highly suggest you do once you have it all set up (apart from fixing the refresh rate) is to set black stabilizer down. Mine came by default at 70 and it made black images look more like grey. I put mine down to 5, so I would just play around with it.

Probably the best 1080p monitor on the market
This monitor is quite literally the best 1080p screen I’ve ever had the pleasure of viewing. Normally for a 27” monitor I’d be inclined to go with a 1440p resolution, however this was purchased as a gift for my father who has a gaming rig with a gtx 1080, so 1440p would be a struggle to get good fps with. The picture quality is downright excellent. 144hz is still a great refresh rate, and the 400 nit brightness is great to view. G Sync is a must have with nvidia cards, so no worries here. I also picked this monitor up for $199 on Black Friday. My pops had a 24” sceptre 75hz tn panel, and going to this IPS panel is night and day. Every aspect - color reproduction, refresh rate, brightness, viewing angle, artifacts - is miles ahead of the cheaper sceptre. If you’re looking for an excellent panel for just about any pc build, this monitor is a great balance of price to performance, as long as you’re ok with 1080p.

I paired this monitor with my intel 9700k and RTX 2070, it looks great and the monitors design is super sleek and professional while also matching the gamer aesthetic at the same time. This monitor has HDR10 and the colours look great. I got this monitor on amazon prime day so the price was unbeatable. With 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time I've been really enjoying this monitor for gaming and with the HDR10 I have really been enjoying videos that are HDR10 compatible, they look absolutely amazing on this monitor. It might only be 1080p but It still looks great nonetheless. I'd recommend holding off on this monitor at the moment though because of the really long shipping times at the moment (1 to 2 months) and hopefully it comes back on sale. But other than that I highly recommend this monitor for anyone wanting a really decent monitor for an amazing price.

I received this monitor much earlier than estimated delivery date/time, I am really happy with this, so high five to amazon on this one. Packing was great, they ensured that monitor shouldn't be damaged or broke in the transit. This monitor is really good, I use this for sole purpose of gaming, at first (initially) I was hesitant due to it's sheer size, I was wondering if 27inchs is top big for 1080p resolution, but no this monitor has proved me wrong there's no tearing or blurred picture while playing games, textures look great, there's no such opposed to pixelation on this set, moreover it's stand is ergonomically made for gamers, which was another plus point of it. HDR may not be the best experience for this monitor, as of HDR requirements you need at least 400nits of brightness which this monitor has, even so HDR does make pictures slightly crisper, but not by much as it's not a certified DisplayHDR400 screen, I'd say 400nits is entry-level HDR at best, yeah you could use this on the monitor, but I'd suggest to not, because in some games HDR implementation is not even "average" it's bad. If you really just want to game on HDR then sure but it won't be a true HDR experience like on Oled screens, they are best for HDR experience, so as far as cost is concerned HDR is prolly not worth it to pay extravagantly high amount for a real HDR monitor/TV, only if you can afford then it's one of the best technology, but expensive. I'd say 600nits is sweet spot for HDR gaming but 1000nits is what you want for true HDR, however 600nits is also very fine, 400nits is not..... This monitor comes with G-SYNC compatibility and has received Nvidia certification as G-SYNC capable panel, it really does what it says, games feel so smooth, even at lower fps, I've tested with and without HDR and difference is massive, there's so much input lag present with G-SYNC disabled it is unbearable to me, variable refresh-rate is game changer here. This monitor as I can see prompting to the settings says "FreeSync Premium" which means it is AMD certified too, so maybe that as well adds up on to give you smooth gaming experience, and also with G-SYNC enabled I have observed that I got slight boost in fps too, like 5 - 10fps which is just too good, Nvidia has done some serious work here for us gamers to deliver top notch gaming experience for AAA/RPGs gamers that want few more frames, though it is redundant in competition games where you mostly tend to be 120+fps. I appreciate Nvidia for implementing G-SYNC, thank you. Colors are just fine, not the best, I'd not get this monitor for editing purpose, it lacks many colors and wrongs in many ways with colors, in rare cases in-game while gaming colors can be overexposed mostly WHITES tend to do so. Don't know why, but for gaming it provides enough color gamut of 99% SRGB yeah look for some other monitor with DCI-P3 gamut that has many more colors present and is winder than 99% SRGB. All in all perfect gaming monitor that has 144hz refresh-rate, would definitely recommend to anyone who's keen to upgrade monitor and are still on 1080p like me. Cheers!

There's a lot to like here! Pros: * IPS quality display, with high refresh rate that you can't normally get on these panel types. * Slim bezzels, low profile design. * Sterdy monitor arm included. * VISO mountable. * Menu is easy to navigate with plenty of options. Cons: * No speakers in the monitor. Not a deal breaker for me since I have a headset. * Only one display port connector, not a big deal if you are not switching between inputs often. This is a beautiful monitor with a high refresh rate and at a decent price. Highly recommend if you are looking for a 144 FPS monitor that doesn't look terrible.
