If you have an athletic/slim build steer well clear of the medium. Fits like...a box. Is not tapered what so ever at the sides. I bought this fully expecting a loose flowing cut with slight shaping to the contour of a normal sized torso. It fits like cheap clothing with no shape at all to the cut. (See pictures expected vs. reality)

Ill just give you my measurements, and you can go from there:50 inch chest, 38 inch waist, 16 1/2 inch neck. I bought the 3XL and it's just right. Little tight in the biceps, but otherwise very comfortable.

I really like this shirt, it is comfortable and just fits right on me. as the company says, if in doubt, select the next size. I normally take a large, so I went with th XX-Large and it fits me just the way I like. it's not tight, it is roomy, but does not feel like I am wearing a tent. it is soft, you can move around in it and it does not bind across the shoulders, and they shirt is long enough that if you choose to tuck it in, you do not have to worry about it coming loose either. I WILL be buying more of these shirts, in different colors.

Followed the size chart and measured myself. Fit exactly as expected. Dyed up nicely with porcion dyes.

ordered a 3xllong sleeves only reach the elbow.size chart says 3xl is 45in, the delivered shirt might be 40inthe material is very light and see through, might be good for hot summers if the sizing wasn't so awfulreturning

I am a size medium. 5'8" 160 lbs. average build.I initially ordered this shirt extra-large (up-sizing by 2), thinking that these shirts generally run a bit on the small size. The extra-large was indeed extra-large! It felt like one of those wing suits. I immediately returned it. (open your package carefully, just in case you need to return it) I returned the item at my local Kohl's (Amazon drop-off) with absolutely zero hassle!I re-ordered the shirt size large (up-size by 1) and received it the very next day. I put it on and loved the loose fit. Fearing that there would be a shrinkage issue, I immediately hand washed it. Gentle hand wash with some liquid detergent and rinse in COLD water. I squeezed out the excess water after a rinse and hung on a PLASTIC hanger outside. Forty-five minutes later, it was dry. I gave it a once over with a MEDIUM HEAT iron. There was ZERO shrinkage.So in summary. Buy this shirt one size larger than your normal fit. HAND WASH ONLY in COLD water and AIR DRY. DO NOT PUT IN DRYER. Iron lightly to remove wrinkles.A great loose fitting garment that looks sharp.I have already ordered the other colors.
