This thing is pretty sweet, no need to punch in complicated code to make it work with your TV as long as it matches the brands they have on the documentation. I have a Sony and it took me a few seconds to get it out of the packaging and get it working. And I love the buttons layout because it is very similar to the layout of the original controller with full functionality so far. If anything changes I will update later.

The buttons are big enough and yes easy to use but it stopped working after 1 month. I changed the batteries and the light on the power button started working but I have to give it a tap every time I want to change the channel. Seems like loose connection/cheap PC board!!! The back lid to open is a real struggle to change batteries!!

This remote did not work at all. As othes have stated its very light weight as if it's a toy. Read the instructions, which stated press the power button number corresponding with your TV. Nothing!! Checked the batteries to make sure they were in correctly, which they were and nothing. Tried repeatedly nothing. Dont buy. As someone stated, you get what you pay for.I wont even try for a refund. Just toss in the garbage.

I have a Sony flat screen TV. I had three different remote controls each one doing a different purpose LOL I bought this one universal remote to replace the three that I was using. It works fabulous easy-to-use easy to set up and it has big buttons as well. Highly recommend this remote.

I will start by saying that my only compliant is that it feels like the remote has a pretty specific line of sight to the TV in order to work. But since my original remote is broken, this could currently be an issue with the TV. But even if this is a fault of the remote, it is a minor inconvenience.Buttons are large, installation (syncing) took virtually no time at all, and the glowing bottoms is a nice in a dark room.Overall, great product for the value. Highly recommend.

This is a really cheap remote so your expectations should match. The build quality is awful. The batteries didn't really fit in the battery compartment, had to force them in and the back doesn't close completely. Remote pairs extremely easily with my Toshiba, but does nothing other than turn it on and off, and adjust the channels and volume. The input button doesn't work and neither does the menu button... I have a 46 button remote with 5 working buttons!

I love my Philips universal remote control. Took it out of the package pushed 2 buttons and it started working on my Philips TV. The menu button even works and I have never seen a universal remote control do that., 😲 I was in complete shock when I saw that. Great remote.

I love this remote!!! I am finally able to set my tv to sleep. I like to watch tv until I fall asleep at night. My original remote works perfectly EXCEPT for the “sleep” button. The replacement remote was going to cost me $40!!! I refused to spend that much. I tried a remote from “5 below”, but it didn’t have a sleep button.I was so happy to find this one. It works perfectly.
