I love this batting for my quilting, and embroidery craft projects. It is soft, and produces just a perfect "puff" around the stitching. It is easy to measure right out of the packaging -- not overly clinging to itself. And it is cut straight. I love to give my projects a good hot, steamy iron finish, and this cotton can take it. I couldn't do that with polyester.

This batting is wonderful. I was a little bit nervous that it would be scratchy based on some of the things I read on other reviews, but that was not the case. It does have a nice texture that helps hold it to the fabric and eliminate the need for a spray-on basting - the texture also makes it a little easier to work with when you are cutting out the pieces. It's easy to work with, maybe a little thicker than what I was hoping for, but definitely far far better than the cheap polyester stuff that was supposed to be useful for the projects I was making.
