F150 2011
Worked perfect for my F150 2011 eco boost model. Just one day my clip broke on the original. This was easy to install and fits perfect. No issues now. Looks the same.

Great deal for money
Very easy to install, but the Fit was slightly off causing the gas door to look a little Janky. That’s OK though it’s much better than hanging.

Worth the buy
Bought this for my 2010 F-150 becuase the one it had wouldnt stay shut. Removal of the unit already one was a little tedious but not too difficult. Installation is the same steps in reverse more or less but 100 times easier. Have had it on for a while and about 1k miles and seen no issues with it. Would buy again if i needed to.

Fits and Not Too Difficult to Install - Does Safely Attach to the Gas Tank Cap & That is a Big Deal
I watched several YouTube videos on how to install this. Then I tried to use the knowledge I gained. Nope. Unless you want to keep the old assembly, they are a waste of time and effort. I took a flat-blade screwdriver and carefully inserted it between the car body and the rubber seal on the old assembly. Then, I just popped the latch up. I did the same for the other two latches and removed the old assembly. It took about thirty seconds. All of the YouTube methods, which were basically exercises in futility, took from ten minutes to the rest of your life. Waste of time. Assembly was simple. You have to use just a little force to get it to go into place, but then the three clip latches grab hold, and you have it installed. The fit is great. Now, the fun part - attaching the tank cap/door to the new assembly. You have to line up the little plastic grooves and slide it into place until it pops into place -- seemingly securely. No, it isn't. It seems like it was but the first time I stopped for gas and opened the cap/door, it fell to the ground. Luckily, it fell off there rather than after hitting a bump somewhere on the road. I did pop it back in place. Again, it seemed secure, but it didn't take much to have it fall right back off. Believe me - this is not because I did not install it properly. I popped it in until it made a loud popping/clicking sound and would not go any further. It seems to be locked in place, but it doesn't take much effort at all to just pull it off again. That would be a big deal if you lost your door while driving down the road. Replacing it probably isn't all that expensive until you also have to have it painted to match your car color so it would not stand out like a sore thumb. Of course, there is a fix. I epoxied it into place. I took care to only join the plastic part on the door to the plastic on the assembly and not to the metal. Just in case I have to replace the assembly sometime in the future. Popping the plastic piece would not be a big deal - then, on the new assembly, I would have to glue it to the metal, but the chances of my having to do this again, hopefully, are very slim. Other than the danger of losing your gas door, this seems to be a good product.

Great part and easy to install
Please read for easy install!!!! First off I’m a female and I installed this on my 2011 F150 ecoboost in 20 min with no issues at all and I’m in no way a mechanic. Do yourself a favor and watch a YouTube video first to see how to get the old one out and the new one in. If you know how it fits in you won’t have any issue installing it. When you close the lid there is a tiny bit of offset but not enough to matter. Also to get the old one out I just put my arm through the back under the fender well and pushed in the tabs on it to release it. You can use a hook screwdriver from the outside but it’s a pain in the butt and you risk scratching your vehicle. I did my research and had no issues at all. Now let’s see how long this one last.
