Compact and simple
I am using this on an 8-battery solar bank with each 2-battery series fused on the load side. This provides short circuit/overload protection at each module as close to the battery as possible. Having the fuse block on the battery also makes for a nice heat sink. The block and fuse are very compact and easy to install. Remember to account for a fused connection in your overall wire load/temp/size calculations - there are plenty of online calculators out there to make this calculation for you.

Although Pricey--It is the Better Option
Rather than buy a $10 fuse/fuse holder and have to cut the battery cable to splice the fuse holder in, this great alternative is far easier to install on the battery itself and allows you to maintain the integrity of your cables uncut--providing more cable strength, current pass through and options for passing cables through bulkheads, etc.

Fuses are like a condom you be glade you used them sooner or later.
If you have batteries of any kind you need to put these on them to help protect your investment. If something were to short out this could prevents wire damage and fire if you get the right size fuses to go with it. I have 6 deep cycle i have these on that power up my solar system. If anything does happen they will save my system and house. I only put 75 amp on each one. 75 x 6 = 450 amps thats a lot of go go juice that can do some serious damage. So don't think you need more then you should. Under size you fuses if you blow one, find out why then upsize. Or just design you system to match you needs. I see campers using 30 amp fuses in a 5 amp radio. Really?

Great When Space is Limited
The system I am building will be installed in a location where there just is not much space to spread out the components. I have used these fuse blocks in two locations: bolted directly to the positive lithium battery terminal (for a main system fuse) and on the output terminal of the main system switch (for a high amperage branch circuit). I do not recommend attaching directly to a battery terminal if you are not using lithium batteries. Other than space considerations the other reason I use these is because they have an ingress rating of IP66, so they can handle adverse environmental conditions. The only downside of these MRBF fuses is that the replacement fuses are very expensive compared to MEGA/AMG fuses and especially the AMI/MIDI fuses.

Great solution for tight spaces, better value than competition
Well constructed and good price when block purchased with fuse in kit. I see no difference from much higher priced version from bluesea. Great solution for tight spaces, mounted mine directly to hot feed of a solenoid, very convenient and took virtually no extra room. Required no additional cables and connectors so it also saved me money there.

Excellent for marine protection
Terminal fuses are great for protecting marine circuits. Takes up minimal space and protects all the wiring from the battery terminal onward. Wish I had discovered these sooner. Quality seems good. Price was best I could find

Used this to power a fuse block in the front of the car and run a line to the back of the car
This is doing it's job perfectly to allow me to run 4 gauge wire to the back of the car to power a second fuse block in the cargo area of the car. Super easy install and love the safety cap to ensure I don't accidentally touch it causing some major damage.

Nice but won't fit my solar battery
The fuse is wider than the holder which prevents bolting it to my solar battery. I'll keep this as a backup but have ordered a different style.
