Same great product, new incredibly expensive color!
I've used the OR Seattle Sombreros for about twenty years. They crush small to fit in my pack, and when it starts raining or snowing they're just the ticket for keeping rain off my head and glasses. This is my third one, my first wound up being 'given' to my girlfriend for her own use. I replaced it with a green one because at the time that was the closest color to OD that was available. When I heard they were making this product in Multicam I knew that I'd have to have it and that I'd pay for the new color pattern. Multicam isn't cheap but no other color pattern offered by OR would have fit my needs as well. Ignoring the issues about price/color, this hat is the same as the ones I've been wearing for these many years. Adjustable headband inside the hat allows for a semi-custom fit, waterproof against pretty much anything, the brim is wide enough to keep most weather off my shoulders and out of my face and long enough at the back to let the rain clear the neck of my rain jacket. There's the ubiquitous 'stampede strap' that goes under your chin but I've never used it..I just cinch the headband tight enough to not worry about it. When the rain is over, shake the water off the hat, crumple it up, stick it in your pocket. Although theres a bit of lining to it, there isn't a lot of insulative qualities to this hat. If youre going to be in the cold weather you may want to order this a size or so larger so you can wear something like a neoprene UnderArmour beanie under it to provide warmth. Also, if you flip up the sides of the hat, and you have the Multicam one, anyone wearing it will look almost exactly like Ted Nugent. The hat is definitely worth the price when it comes to the non-Multicam versions, the Multicam version is obviously more expensive but if you're willing to drop the coin for it you'll probably not regret it since the hat will last you a long, long time and perform quite well for all that time.

Decades of service
I've owned my Seattle sombrero since around 1993 and it has had flawless service and looks like new. I would absolutely buy again.
