The Highest Quality Soft White Wheat Grains For Grinding
Best organic white soft wheat ever. I love this company! Their products are so fresh and have a great flavor. Very high quality foods. I've been baking and grinding my grain for decades. (Even grew my own hard wheat once.) So I've tried them all. And this is the best. The very best I've ever come across. Now this is Soft White Wheat. You use it for biscuits, pie crust, muffins, pancakes, cookies. NOT yeast bread. You would want Hard White Wheat for yeast bread. Just so you know! I make most things 50% unbleached and 50% soft white wheat. This flour mills up so nice and light I often go 2/3 white wheat or even 100%. If you do soaked grains, then use 100% soft white wheat. Makes outstanding belgian waffles, tortillas and all wheat! You will feel virtuous and your family well fed and happy. Their garbanzos and lentils are also excellent. Anything these guys have, I'm interested. It's nice to have a brand you can trust and believe in.

Super clean wheat
I've been through almost 75 lbs of wheat from this source, and just ordered another bag. Every single bag has been the cleanest wheat I've ever seen. No misc seeds, and no small stones. It's unbelievably clean stuff. I keep an assortment of red and white, hard, soft, spring, winter. I really like this soft white for pasta, pancakes, cookies and such. Most of the time i sift it through at least a 70 mesh, especially for pasta. I freeze the sifted bran for use in bran loafs or muffins so it doesn't get thrown out. The wheat flavor really comes out in quick beads and noodles which is 90% of what i use this for. There is far too much waste trying to sift down to AP flour, like for a cake, unless maybe you own a hammer mill. It's also far less cost effective. Best pancakes and waffles you'll ever eat if you have a mill.

Love em.
Bag seemed a bit light compared to prior purchases, but I don't have a weight. Bought many bags prior, will buy many more in the future. Just something I noticed this go around. Great product.

Excellent clean quality
This is the best company I have found for clean, pest free wheat berries! I have been sprouting white wheat seeds for my budgies and lineolated parakeets for 15 years and this is my third purchase from this company. I have tried various other brands and have experienced continuous problems with bug infestations. It makes me sick to have to throw out a brand new 25 pound expensive bag due to bug infestations, moldy seeds and debris and dust in the bags. Palouse is the first company I have found that provides clean, debris, bug and dust free wheat seeds. Thank you Palouse and please keep your high standards and high quality products! You have a customer for life if you do!

Wheat berries are good, but the plastic bag they come in is bad
The product is good, but the bag it comes in, some kind of woven plastic, leaves of bits of plastic in wheat berries.

Great company and product!
Makes great biscuits and other "quick breads"! I have used Palouse wheat and then their beans for years now with great satisfaction. Their wheat works well for making sourdough starter too. I love buying US grown food!
