MalcoM2005 MAX2000 Bulldog Aviation Snip

Used these for the first time and they are amazing I’m used to the wiss brand of bulldogs and in my opinion these blow them out of the water. I also really like the lock that holds the snips closed very good design. I do a lot of sheet metal work/ ductwork and from now on these are my go to. I also purchased the max 2000 right and left offsets very pleased I had the old style max 2000 and they lasted 15 years very impressed.

These snips were bulky and awkward without providing strong cutting power. The purpose of small straight snips should be large power in tight spaces, these provide neither. They are sitting in the back of my bag and will probably never be used again.

The spring and lock seem a bit cheezy for a tool to be used and abused in an industrial setting. For home use shouldn't be a problem. Being new and sharp as new, they cut like a hot knife thru warm butter.

These are the best snips I have ever used. Ever. I have other brands on the bench and EVERY SINGLE TIME I use the other brands, I remember how much nicer the Malco's are. It does not matter what they cost, they are worth it.
