I finished this book at 3 in the morning...not even joking. Once I was able to start it and not stop, I couldn’t stop reading. I was turning the pages as fast as possible. I already want to read it again. McGuire knows how to pull me in and keep me there, and this book was no different. I’ve been a McGuire fan since I read Beautiful Disaster, years ago. I never thought another book could beat out those first two books for me, but this one sure gave them a run for their money.Being able to connect to so many characters in a book says something about the writing. You don’t just fall in love with Naomi and Zeke, you fall for all their friends and family too. The characters are written in a way that makes them feel like lifelong friends that you’ve been through every up and down with, you’ll want to have Thanksgiving together or attend their weddings.Speaking of characters....Naomi is the baddest woman in the world, and it’s magical! I’d be completely intimated of her but want to be her best friend too. She doesn’t need a man to take care of her, she will take care of them. She really is the female version of Travis Maddox. She has been through he** and back but keeps fighting and won’t give up. Zeke might be one of my favorite people. He has a huge heart and loves so easily. He hasn’t had the easiest life and he’s always waiting for the other shoe to drop, but man is he worth it.The Edge of Us gave me all the feels and gave me all those vibes I felt when I first found Indie writing. If you’re looking for a book that’ll give you laughs, action, some angst, have you wanting to throat punch someone and then hug others...this is the book for you. McGuire knows what she’s doing and she does it well!

OMG! THIS BOOK! Zeke is SUCH a sweetheart. And Naomi! Let’s talk about Naomi. She’s been teased as the Female Travis Maddox and she so is but she totally holds her own candle. She is and earns her own bad ass title. And when I say bad ass, I mean BAD ASS. I absolutely love her personality and wit. She made me laugh so much! I kept highlighting so many of her lines. Two thumbs WAY up to Jamie on this one. There’s so much I could say but I don’t want to spoil it. All I will say is Jamie spoils us with all the Easter Eggs. Loved them!! I highly recommend everyone read this book. You’ll enjoy it! Trust me. I already can’t wait until the next one.

You should just go ahead and call in sick to work when you buy this book. Because once you start this book it's going to take a miracle to force you to put it down.Naomi had her heart shattered when her husband died. She's tried rebuilding her life while honoring his memory. She's done a pretty good job. Then Zeke enters the picture and makes her question if she can take a new path.Zeke wants to be strong enough to be the man tough as nails Naomi deserves. It's a struggle for sure. The two of them will give you all the feels.We finally got a look into Deep Echo from book 1. WTH is actually going on down there?! It wasn't quite what I had imagined. What did these people get themselves into? (not sure what I'm talking about? book 1 is an amazing piece of work as well, BUY it) We also got some glimpses at the Maddox twins and of course the lovable Darby and Trex from book 1. I missed them all so I was happy to visit with them again. I sure hope there will be a book 3!

I swear. I don’t know how Jamie does it... she always one ups herself with every new release. The McGuire magic is strong with this one.Keeping this review spoiler free, if you enjoyed the Maddox Brothers and Trex and Darby, you’ll love Zeke and Naomi. You’ll laugh, you’ll, if you’re anything like me, (ugly) cry, have minor anxiety attacks because you’re so nervous, and completely fall in love with badass Marine Naomi Abrams, and sweetheart Zeke Lund. You get action, romance, suspense, AND you get to meet the female Travis Maddox! There’s not much more you can ask for.One of the things that always makes me smile are the little details that Jamie throws in for us die-hards. Little throw backs to previous books in the series, or unrelated series. It’s nothing big, but it’s like a little recognition to MacPack, like she’s saying “I see you out there, and I love you.”, and I just love that.Can’t wait for the next one!!

This book is an absolute MUST READ, like stop reading this review and read the dang book!! To put into words to get you to read this book, If you love badass chicks who will drop you, punch you or just plain shoot you ... but loves her man with no conditions- then Naomi Abrams is going to be your new favorite! Add in Zeke, said man she loves with no conditions, who tries to prove his manliness every way he can, but still doesn’t feel worthy, but loves her all the same. They are lost when they find each other both relying on the chosen families to get through life.There is drama, comedy, action, contempt, and so much love in this book! Jamie McGuire is one of my favorites for a reason and she keeps knocking it out of the park!Go read the book! ITS AMAZING!

I have been waiting for this book since the release of ‘From Here to You’! Jamie McGuire is hands down one of my all time favorite authors and this book was no exception. From the very beginning I was drawn in, Naomi is one amazing chick and she doesn’t take crap from anybody. She knows pain and she knows loss and she’s living her life one day at a time. She’s not interested in getting involved with anyone else. She was ready for Zeke.Zeke is an Alpine Hotshot. He had a rough life growing up but now he has a family in his fellow hotshots. Zeke’s first encounter with Naomi is one for the books and he is drawn to her. There’s something about the strong woman that he needs to understand better. As Zeke and Naomi get to know each other they can’t help but be drawn to one another. When a person from Naomi’s past and now present tries to tear them apart the two have to figure out if the other is worth it? And can they get what the want?!Jamie is hands down the best. Her books from start to finish keep you captivated. She evokes so much emotion and I love that we get to revisit characters from previous books. I love every book that she writes and can’t wait for more from the crash and burn series!!

What a phenomenal experience reading this part two was. Naomi , a war widow, who’s husband gave his life to save his comrades, enlist , does active service, but eventually finds herself being detailed to a secure unit in the desert as security. She accompanies her fellow comrades on a highly secret mission , having all left the forces. Little does she know, that a snake of an ex lover, her first a senator has a lot to answer for. Zeke is a fire fighter, attached to a group of men a few we’ve met before. Step forward the Maddox twins. Tyler and Taylor. Great to encounter them again, also a snip of their FBI brother Travis. Anyway back to the storyline. It has adventure, intrigue, definitely drama and so much more. Heart ache and sorrow between the two main characters is so riveting. The story twists and turns and has many interesting characters in it apart from the Maddox, Naomi family are incredibly interesting, strong and unusual as are Zeke’s . A great book easy to read . Difficult to put down. As ever a fabulous novel by a great author. Many a twist you didn’t see coming.

Love this author she is amazing.Loved this story definitely not what I expected as a story but more amazing.Couldn't put it down want more from all these guys, loved the Maddox mix especially the omg moment at the end.If you do t read this your not only stupid but will do !did out. But it read it love it.Jamie would give you a million stars if I could loved it. Want more especially more maddox...

I’ve had this on my kindle to read for years. Just thought I’d delve in cold. The story line runs parallel to From Here To You but it’s been so long since I read it, I was worried I’d not follow. Not an issue at all. I love that while it’s run parallel, it’s completely different. It covers the tough topic of grief beautifully. I was gripped from start to finish. I am feeling a full re-read from the beginning after the last line!! Absolutely loved it.

This is fabulous. Naomi is a no nonsense woman who knows what she wants and does what she will to protect who she loves and fights for. Zeke is a man who likes a challenge and doesn't give up. They are perfect together but it doesn't go to plan. People from the past have a knack up messing things up. But team work and old friends help in the end. Fantastic loved it and meeting old friends again

I honestly don't know what to say,Another amazing read, I've not slept for days (I only have the chance to read before bed) as I've been gripped.I'll stick with "I'm speechless" everyone NEEDS to read this story it's brilliant .Thank you Jamie!!
