Works OK but runs warm to hot.
Purchased to use as a dimmer for 5 meter 12 volt LED light strip. Used for a few days and it works as intended but runs a little hot. Will see if the heat causes a failure in the long term.Update: 1/272020 1st unit only supplies about 1/2 power so leds only go to 1/2 brightness when at max. Replaced with 2nd unit and all works fine again. As I feared, it looks like the heat takes it toll over time.

This is basically for Lighting purposes.
This happens to be a great product for the price but unfortunately I had bought it for the wrong reason. I thought it could be used for an aquarium light but when I put it on the lighting was acting for like Christmas outdoor lights.

1 of the 2 pack doesn't work.
1 star because 1 of the 2 you sent me didn't work at all. Power goes through it, but the buttons do nothing. When pulled in, my led emits a high frequency tone. Other 1 works fine.EDIT: I was sent a replacement for the one that didn't work. Nice, except that it stopped working after a week. I can't give any less stars, so my rating remains at one.

Worked as advertised
Used for LED lights installed in my roof top tent. Wanted something dimmable. These worked as advertised but didn’t work well for my needs. The strobe effect is intense and better suited for a party atmosphere

Works well at 12v 5a. Great dimmer.
Works as described, fantastic dimmer control. Didn't need the other features but they work too.

Do not buy these are trash and create trash.
I bought this for my under cabinet lights. After two weeks it shorted out and blew out my power adapter. Having ordered 2 maybe it was something else so I replaced it and the power adapter and it happened again. Telling me that these are garbage and create garbage.

Does the job
Works as suggested. Use it with single color LED strip. Would buy again.
