1 LB of Blue Oyster Mushroom Spawn Mycelium to Grow Gourmet and Medicinal Mushrooms at Home or commercially - Use to Grow on Straw or Sawdust Blocks - G1 or G2 Spawn

This product was supposed to be 2 lbs of grain spawn. Instead, I got 2 lbs of grain and a couple sprinkles of spawn that don’t seem to be colonizing the grain after over a week.

I ordered a blue oyster grain spawn and when it arrived no mycelium was visible. I waited more than two weeks... no change. I contacted the seller and without hesitating, they offered to send me another blue oyster spawn. It arrived a few days later and it looks real good. I expected poor service, but I received excellent service.

It looks like they inoculate the bag just before they ship it and expect you to hold it for a few weeks until it becomes colonized, before you can use it. Not a bad thing. But if you're in a hurry, it ain't going to happen. And if you just throw it away because it doesn't look like when you expected, you just lost your money for nothing.

Will never order again.

Aggressive strain, I had 100% success with inoculating more grain spawn and substrate. Fully colonized a 5 gallon bucket in 2.5 weeks and am getting ready to fruit. Customer service was exceptional, I had a few questions about fruiting temperatures, RH, and FAE. They went so far with their response that they offered me a contact number to contact with any questions that may arise. I was so happy that I went back and bought lions mane spawn from them.

I thought I ordered a fully colonized bag of grain. Turns out to have had only a dime sized spot of mycellium. After three weeks in my growth chamber and having paid almost $40 for it, I just fed it to the birds. Terrible spawn, very expensive bird feed, but the birds liked it.

This is a terrible product. Nothing but a sack full of grain. Never materialized into mysylium. Not sure why Amazon would continue supporting this sham company

Never bloomed. I think they were partially blank millet. I saw a few white blotches but it wasn’t fully inoculated. Wouldn’t mind seeing another batch of spawn
