get the best - weep once
I replaced all the core valve when I flushed, cleaned and rebuilt the AC system top to bottom of my trusty Silverado. Her original AC lasted 18 years before she gave her last full measure. The system is at 250 microns na was pressured tested with nitrogen for three days at 120 PSI. Zero leaks and almost a dull roar when everything is perfect and nothing goes wrong.Big tip for long term success: don't use PAG oil to rub the seals and gaskets. You're asking for oxidation/corrosion creep since the aluminum tubes and components are already been thorough hundreds of heat/cold cycles. Aluminum is always oxidizing. When moisture creeps in as the PAG oil absorb moisture you are on borrowed time. I used GM seal conditioner from the R12 days. It was one of the best conditioners ever made. I fully expect another 15 plus years on the new AC system. Also, when you have the vacuum level you want, load coolant liquid from the high side. Easy to do and gas laws and fluid physics are in your side for a precise and controlled charge cycle. I may post picots of the setup is made up when using this punky little R134a 12 ounce cans. Also, don't pull a vacuum if you can avoid it using those manifold setups. Seperate vacuum and separate charge lines. Just some advice FWIW.It pays to do your homework and be a winner. Peace.

Wanted OEM part but not sure it is any better than the one I took out.
Wanted OEM part but not sure it is much better than the one I took out. I still have a little dye leaking out around the new valve. Aftermarket would have been cheaper.

Real Ac Delco part and works like Factory
The media could not be loaded. I like that it’s the Oem Ac delco brand and work exactly like factory no leaking or fitment issues on my 01 Tahoe, but also works on the newer year gm trucks.

Yep ... fits like OE.
Perfect fit ... nice valve core. It's supposed to be seated "finger tight," but check the seal with some kind of R134a detector (I used an electronic one) after you've installed and recharged with refrigerant, just to make sure you've cinched it down tight enough, and/or didn't get a lemon.[P.S. to original review: After doing my initial, "finger-tight" installation of this core and testing/finding no leak at that point, I went back a few days later, re-checked it, found slight leakage again on two separate occasions, and tightened it down a little more both times. I'll keep doing that every few days until I'm either getting no more positive leak tests, or have confirmed that the entire valve body needs to be replaced, as I had to do with the high-side valve.]
