I like everything about the mouthpiece. It’s a Vandoren. It’s tone and intonation are remarkable. I use one on my alto too and the quality is superb. Want to turn a cheap horn into a professional model this is step one.

Easy to play and great tone quality
I use this mouthpiece with my Yanagisawa curved soprano sax and am very happy with it. I'm a beginner on soprano sax, yet this mouthpiece is easy to play and sounds great. I also have a Selmer Concept mouthpiece, which has a slightly warmer sound. Choosing between the two is a matter of taste; they are both excellent. This mouthpiece is somewhat larger than some others, so I found my Rovner Versa ligature did not fit. So I got a Vandoren Optimum ligature that works great with this mouthpiece.

Table is not flat
low notes was very hard to produce its like only 20% hit on Bb, same reed on a 4C 100%hit on Bb. I initiated return but I took a gamble by flattening the table and the curve angle and now it is perfect, 100% hit on low Bb on a legere 2.75. Just search sopranoplanet in YT for fixing the table, sometimes it is not you or the saxophone that is the fault.

高音が痩せない
ずっと昔からバンドレン派です。（吹奏楽）ここのところＳ２５を使用していましたが、思い切ってＳＬ５にチャレンジしてみようと思い購入しました。Ｓ２５のオープニングは153(1/100mm)、ＳＬ５は125(1/100mm)と開きは大きな差があります。フェイシングの関係でＳＬ５は若干抵抗があります。思い切り吹き込むと音量の上限を感じました。Ｓ２５はそのような事はありません。まぁ、ソプラノでそこまで大きな音は要求されませんし、そんな事をしたら合奏が台無しになりますからね。私見になりますが、Ｓ２５の明るめなストレートの音色と比較すると、ＳＬ５は少しダークで丸く落ち着いた感じです（音のエッジが無くなるという意味ではありません）。立ち上がりは良いです。特に高音域が痩せないし出しやすいです。心地よい抵抗感ですが息苦しさは全くありません。キンキンした明るい音は好きでは無いので、とても気に入りました。国産ブロンズカーブド、リガチャはＢＧトラディショナルゴールド(L51)、リードはグラコン（またはロイヤル）番手３を使用しています。
