Product was a perfect fit for my Lenevo Y510p the only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because the front plastic bezel that you pull the drive out with could be more solid

Just what I needed!
Works perfectly with my old Lenovo Y500 was just laying around collecting dust that I had decided to turn into a Plex server. Replacing the optical drive with this 2.5 HHD caddy was super easy to do, and now I effectively have 2TB worth of storage even before connecting my external hard drives. There's even a little light that indicates when the drive is actively reading/writing. Huzzah!

Good, but could be better.
I have a Lenovo Y500 from 2013 and I wanted to make a duel boot PC (windows and arch linux).Easy to install, comes with a screw driver and screws.It’s not as sturdy as the original hardware on the laptop, but also to it’s defense I for got to unlock one of the latches on the device.I put an second SSD in the Laptop and it works. No issues with connecting to the laptop.Recommend if you just don’t want an optical drive on you laptop anymore.

Fits perfectly to my Lenovo Y510p, I have the SLI (second card on the ultrabay) but with the driver issues and incompatibilities i was going crazy, the HDD is working perfect and i have a SSD as primary, now i can burn the second Video card in peace.

Seems to fit Y510p
I'm not using the hard drive connector at the moment. I honestly bought it to simply plug the hole left by the second graphics card. My graphics card fried itself while watching a youtube video...go figure! Anyways, this seems to fit my y510p though it was a bit difficult to push and snap into the laptop itself....

Fits nicely
Fits perfectly. I had to go to BIOS and disable USB booting for the HDD to show in windows. works nicely.

Does the job, not quite flush though.
Fits well. Does it's job. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't quite sit flush with my laptop (y500). Also, the rubber pad on it makes it difficult to remove from the laptop, though that's not that big of a deal unless you plan on swapping a lot. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it.
