This is a very short, very good story for beginning Japanese learners. I, myself, am a beginner. It's easy to read, and follows the traditional Japanese writing format (top to bottom, right to left).I appreciate the use of hiragana. There is no kanji in this book, which is even better for beginning learners.

It's great for any English speaker learning Japanese who's practicing or proficient in hiragana and katakana.It excludes kanji.The translations are on the last page. The translations are certainly written by a non English speaker, but the meaning is clear.

I'm learning Japanese and can only read hiragana and katana so far. This book is very simple and only uses kana for reading, and there is an English translation at the end. Great for anyone who is learning how to read Japanese!

I bought for myself to practice reading some Japanese. There is no kanji in the book, making it easy for beginners (with some idea of sentence structure and some limited vocabulary). I got to the end of the "Shiro Kuma" part I was pleasantly surprised and amused.

The illustrations are really nice, and the story is cute (though very short), but the English translation included at the end of the book is very sloppy. Google Translate could have done a better job.

I enjoyed this book. It is concise, and the vocabulary is at the right level for a beginner like myself. I’d recommend it to someone who’s done learning Hiragana and would like to supplement his/her learning with some vocabulary building.

There are two short beginner stories in kana. The main pages are all images. After the story, there are English translations which include both kana and romaji.

Yo lo utilicé para niños y adolescentes estudiantes de japonés y sí vi resultados en el corto plazo, es muy didáctico, puesto que tiene muy poquitas páginas, perfecto para una introducción a la lectura del idioma y que no se aburran. Sí lo recomiendo para nivel principiante.

Ho acquistato questo ebook mentre cercavo dei libri per bambini in giapponese. Di pubblicazioni con testo in italiano praticamente non ce ne sono, quindi ho optato per l'inglese.Il libro è breve, le illustrazioni sono molto semplici ma piacevoli da vedere e il testo è abbastanza facile dal punto di vista sintattico (a un livello N5 non si dovrebbero aver problemi). Il testo è in hiragana verticale, mentre in fondo al libro è riproposto interamente, diviso in frasi, con traslitterazione in romaji e traduzione (molto creativa) inglese.Per il costo direi che vale la pena di acquistarlo, anche solo per fare un po' di esercizio di lettura.
