Gorgeous lamp that can accommodate new LED corn cob bulbs
This is quite an attractive fixture, especially for the price. It was easy to replace my 1965 carriage lamp fixture with this more modern one using the existing pole; evidently the pole size for outdoor lamps has been rather standard for over 50 years. It was tall and wide enough to accommodate a modern corn cob LED bulb that outputs a ton of light at only 25W. The bulb itself is approximately 3" diameter by 6.5" height. The fixture is big enough to accommodate a taller and slightly wider corn cob LED bulb, perhaps an extra inch or two in height and 1" in diameter. Attached are before and after photos. The quality is good and I like the beveled glass. The glass at the top and bottom of the lamp provides maximum light distribution. Please let me know if you found this review helpful.

Absolutely stunning. Used as kitchen pendants
So, I took a design risk and decided to bring these outdoor lights inside...And wow, I am very happy with that choice! It adds a masculine, seriousness to our otherwise classic, safe spaces.I was motivated to try because the other pendants were too pedestrian, too dainty, and just didn't quite fit the bill. These are gorgeous. I am very well-pleased!

Good proportion
Looks better than I thought it would for the price. I was trying to find a light that was not out of proportion to a standard three inch post in front of a small ranch. This is it. I have seen so many lanterns that look silly compared to the house size. I knocked off a star because it was a little bent at the base but it is the best looking lantern in the neighborhood. It came very well packed. I used a LED 100 watt bulb and it lights up everything because it is almost all glass. We replaced the screws with stainless ones so we can always get them off when necessary. I have started doing that on outdoor items.

Do NOT waste your money!
Arrived intact despite UPS punching a hole in the box. Cheaply made. There are two screw brackets on the bottom half that the top screws to. One was missing. Tiny nuts hold the bottom half together. Two were missing.I emailed the manufacturer, but have not heard back. I think I am going to return this and get a decent one ay Lowes or Home Depot.

For the handyman only
Decent construction and assembly. Cast aluminum parts feel a little light weight. But the biggest issue I had was assembly of the removable top pieces. The tops assemble using tiny M4 screws that are about 12mm long. They screw into thin sheet metal brackets that were so bent the screws are impossible to assemble in a deep blind hole. I decided to change the mounting to improve assembly. In the meantime it rained and the thin sheet metal brackets started rusting. When I got back I disassembled the brackets and put 16mm stainless M4 screws in from the bottom. That way once the brackets were reinstalled I could straighten the screws and use a nut to attach the tops. If you are handy this is an ok buy.

This light is about as good as you'll ever get for $30
This light is about as good as you'll ever get for $30. While it is actually glass and metal construction, it feels a bit flimsy. Calling this an "exterior" light is a bit of a stretch. I say that because it's completely un-sealed. The glass panels just kinda sit loosely in the frame. I used clear silicone caulking along all the seams and over the screws to hopefully keep the water out of it. And that is actually the reason I'm knocking a star off. So ... a decent light but definitely a case of getting what you paid for. If I'd paid $100 for it, this would likely be a 1 or 2 star review. But hey for $30, I won't get worked up if it rusts away or gets smashed after a few years.

My expectations were exceeded
My expectations were exceeded. The price was right and the quality better than expected. Furthermore the parts were easy to disassemble, which was important for me since I wanted the light facing down to provide more light on my driveway. This required that I move the socket from the floor of the lantern to the top. The the ground connection came off the socket that came with the lantern, but the socket was easily replaced by a part from my local hardware store. This defect was so minor compared with my overall satisfaction that it does not show up in the star count :)

Decent lamp, missing parts
The lamp itself is nice, although smaller than we thought it would be, but the screws to put it together were missing from the box. I contacted the seller with a diagram of the missing pieces (see attached diagram pic) and they responded promptly saying they would send the screws. All seemed well. My wife and I decided to wait to put it up instead of going to get screws ourselves thinking the ones being shipped would match the color and we wouldn't have to paint them, etc. The screws arrived almost a week later. Although they had the right threads, they were just plain shiny screws and not the ones that went to the lamp originally. We decided to paint them but then we discovered they were actually TOO LONG to fit. We ended up going to Menards and spent $5 to get some screws that worked and were the right length. Perhaps more of the lamps from this seller are missing parts, so just beware you may have to spend a little more to get all the pieces to assemble it.
