So easy to put in
I ordered these because usually I use the non metal ended one which, give them their due, are fantastic to use but can be a pain to put in. These ones were so much easier to put in and do the job just as well. My children struggle with fine motor skills so these types of laces are a necessity and I used them for a pair of football boots. My biggest concern was sensory issues due to them being metal ended but so far I have had no complaints and all is well. I would highly recommend these for trainers.

These work on my size 6.5 women's walking trainers
I bought the small size, because this is the 3rd of these I've ordered (others were silicon and didn't work at all for my shoes or trainers). The metal bar means these are much easier to get through the lace holes. However even with the small set, I had to use the smallest ones for size 6.5 ladies trainers - and they are not quite as tight as laces would be. I'd love an even smaller set to get them a little tighter. Overall, good value for money and they do what they're supposed to. I have osteoarthritis in my hands, so tying laces is often difficult, this makes things easier.

Wonderful
Brilliant!Especially good for people with dyspraxia or autism. They're easy enough to put on, and make shoes/boots so much easier to put on, and without the stress of laces coming undone all of the time.Would definitely recommend.

does the same job as the rubber equivalent you can buy, but 1000 times easier to install!
I've got MS, and sometimes fine motor control movements (like tie shoelaces) is a problem. I bought the rubber shoe lace replacements, which were good, but REALLY hard to install. Plus, after about a year or so, they start to degrade and break off. I saw this item, which performs the same job, but is MUCH easier to install. Took literally 5 minutes for both shoes, if that. (I remember the rubber ones took almost an hour, they were so finnicky!)I'm buying several more packs for other shoes I have and for shoes I buy in the future - just in case this product becomes unavailable. I don't know how long they'll last, but if they last 18 months before needing replacements, I'd be happy. Glad I bought them.

Fantastic idea
These are the most fantastic product. My son wears a foot brace following a stroke and these give him the ability to get his shoes off and on independently. They fit trainers and shoes as we have tried both. I would like a black option if possible but the red option makes a statement for a young man

Really good
Brilliant, transformed my trainers. Was going to buy velcro shoes, now no need. Really impressed. Thought the metal eyelet might be uncomfortable but don't notice them. Trainers stay firmly on feet. Not sure how long they'll last once elastic starts to age and stretch, but for now they're great. Only minor downside is they look very elastic/synthetic. A more cotton looking version would look better for some shoes, but couldn't find any.

good price decent quality
i have only worn them a few times because you know can't really go outside now but i digress.for people who have problems tying shoelaces because off problems with their hands etc these are great and look decent as well. I also have wide feet and the largest ones work great.only reason they get 4 star is if you have problems with manual dexterity. they are a bit of a sod to put in but can be done and if not, get a family member or a friend to do for you. As once done not having to tie your shoes turning them to slip on's is great (get a long handled shoe horn for maxim ease of use)

No more tying laces and easy to fit.
I have now put the rainbow coloured elastic laces which were easy as peasy to fit and make my white leather 'plimpsoles' easy to slip on and off and look fun. enough sent for any replacement in the future, they also come in other plain colours but I am pleased with the modern look.
