This is a high-quality and tasty soup - highly recommend! I am in a tiny apartment
Ordered these in preparation for Hurricane Irma. This is a high-quality and tasty soup - highly recommend! I am in a tiny apartment, but use a fondue pot and Sterno for storm and hurricane emergencies when the power is out. You will need chicken and butter, but since I had moved these perishable items from my freezer to my large cooler ahead of the storm, I was able to use up what I had and stay at home to make meals, etc.The fondue pot is also great to heat water to make tea and coffee...during these kinds of storm conditions (and maybe a French press). My complex does not allow grills, bbq's etc.Enjoyed this soup so much, I gave some as a xmas gift to my kids this year.

Don't forget the chicken broth
This is very tasty and versatile. You add chicken stock and other vegetables. Two things to be aware of is it only makes about 8 one cup servings. So I'd suggest using two packs. Eight servings may seem like a lot but this stew is thick. I was surprised to see a list of things you had to add to the mix. Cooking only takes quarter of an hour but depending on your add-ins prepping takes time.

Expensive. Healthy. Bland. Great after seasoning well- if cost is no object.
Overall, this chicken stew experience was a win. I used the cornstarch method for a gluten free and thicker stew. Half a box of expensive chicken flavor. Extra frontier dehydrated soup vegetables. 2 12.5 oz cans of chicken. For extra seasonings I opted for pepper, Champion Chicken, and 2 chicken cubes. Next time I will use 3-4 chicken cubes as the flavor was still a bit bland for my taste. My 3 and 5 year old daughters shockingly ate my stew and even came back for seconds!I would give this 5* but it has some major downfalls. Mainly the price point. This dish turned out to be fairly expensive. Complete to plate price was around $15 for a pot. This stew mix, extra soup vegetables, expensive chicken flavor, and chicken are the main expensive items.I would recommend this but be advised you will need a lot of chicken flavorings. Even with a lot it still tastes a bit bland in my opinion. However, it seems like a fairly healthy dish and with some work a tasty one too.Healthy. 5/5*Flavor. 3/5*Value. 2/5*Ease. 3/5*

Love these soups
While I think each soup mix from frontier are great tasting and easy to prepare, They are a bit on the pricey side for a soup concentrate, Great to keep in the pantry. Great recipe variation suggestions on each package.

Love this product!
This Frontier a Chicken Stew is one I use as a starting point for chicken pot pie. I use either corn starch or GF all purpose flour to thicken. I either use GF pastry dough I've made and frozen or Pillsbury GF pastry dough. I make individual sized pies then freeze. Great for a quick meal when I don't feel like cooking. Cooking GF can be a pain if you do not have access to products like these and if you live in a small town where your grocery stores/food marts do not stock GF items these are a lifesaver. Being able to order online through Amazon and delivery to your front door saves so much time and effort. Also, we often vacation at a mountain cabin literally in the middle of nowhere (no cable, no wifi, no Internet and "grocery store" is more like a gas station store with some food items). These are light and easy to bring along especially if you're Celiac. Can't recommend enough. Also stores well if you order in bulk and/or use Amazon's subscribe and save program. Plus, less expensive per item than my local grocery stores.
