I’ve had many years of fat phobia and aversion to dietary fat primarily due to (as science is now clarifying) the fallacy that saturated fat is harmful to the human body. Now due to health challenges I am taking necessary measures to correct the adverse physiological effects that a low fat, high carbohydrate diet has had on my health. Unfortunately my many years of avoiding significant dietary fat has predisposed me from being able to adequately digest dietary fats resulting in causing me to develop symptomatic issues from gallbladder sludge (sizable quantities of small gallstones) that were very troubling and uncomfortable. I have been highly motivated to do whatever possible to both avoid having my gallbladder removed and in conjunction to becoming fat adapted to improve my overall health. With this objective I tried many different approaches including for example the use of bile salts, digestive enzymes, and exercise but did not find a solution and relief until I found the Houston Lypazyme enzyme product for fat digestion. It has worked wonderfully well in eliminating my gallbladder sludge and allowing me to now eat copious amounts of healthy fats in my diet. I am now on a Keto diet (almost a complete carnivore diet) and I am experiencing significant overall improvement in my health. Lypazyme is the only lipase enzyme that I am aware of that contains all 3 of the essential lipase enzymes for comprehensive fat breakdown and digestion. This product has been a huge game-changer for me! With my meals that have large quantities of fat I am using 2 tablets to be sure I will not be affected adversely. So far-so good and as of now I am extremely pleased with the efficacy of this product!

Husband suddenly had pain after eating. Bought these to help pinpoint if fats were the culprit (gall bladder/pancreas issue?). Worked like a charm. Takes before the meal and no Pain. Still waiting on diagnostics…. So at least he has this while we wait for modern medicine’s diagnosis

Really doesn't appear to do anything. Regular straight Lipase I notice an effect from.

I do take another digestive enzymes, Enzyme Spectrum Complete, one capsule with every meal. However, in some of my meals, which include a portion of avocado, my vitamins A & D, and olive oil stir-fried veggies, I found myself taking 2 and sometimes 3 of the digestive enzymes. So, I bought this Lypazyme, I take 1 about 30 minutes before one of those meals, and my digestive enzymes, and problem solved.

It definitely helps but not as much as I had hoped. I’ve been experimenting taking a second one half way through certain meals that contain some fat or oils and it seems to work.
