Good cinema at its best
This is cinema! Three precious pieces of cinematic art.The three of them are exceptional movies, but my favs are first and third. If you enjoy American action movies, probably you will not like these ones, but you can try with something different which, maybe, will make you think beyond easy violent films full of special effects, empty dialogues and stupid repetitive clichés.Kieslowski is a genius, one of the best directors ever and he knows how to show human nature as it really is, in a few words, in long silences, in poetic and touching images decoding the three colours of the French flag for liberty, equality, and fraternity. The beautiful score plays a prominent part as in all his movies.A piece of advice: watch them in order - blue-white-red -for they are interconnected and the last scene in Red is essential to understand the whole. This is cinema at its best!

Excellent! We had watched these on tape many years ago but thoroughly enjoyed seeing them again after all this time. They had not lost any of the magic. Can recommend to anyone who likes something a bit different, and the music is enchanting.

no praise needed
How could I enhance what people think of the merits of this outstnading trilogy. On my reckoning he was the finest director of his generation
