Excellent thermometer for a good price.
Works really great theres 2 downsides, It always starts in Celsius even if u change it to Fahrenheit and the magnet could be a little stronger. Still totally worth it.

Magnet came out first time removing from fridge.
The magnet came out of the thermometer and stayed stuck to the fridge the very first time I removed it. I am also super annoyed that I cannot even get a replacement sent to me without having to return the defective one to a shipping location myself (or pay $7.99). Bad enough they won't do free pickups any more on most items, but you would think they would at least do so for a defective item. Buyer beware!

The Reason It’s the Cheapest One
I only wanted this thermometer to help me adjust the water temperature for my aquariums. Since I keep it in the bathroom where I run the Python hose from, I didn’t want to keep using the one we use in the kitchen. The reason it’s the cheapest priced meat thermometer has to be because of two features that are standard on every one of these items that I have ever seen. Number 1; you have to hit the power button every time you use it. Simply opening the probe doesn’t automatically turn it on. Number 2; it always defaults back to Celsius. Not a problem for most of the world but a real p.I.a. here in the US.Because of the limited amount of use I give this device, plus the fact that it was ten bucks cheaper than the other ones, I’m good with it. On the other hand, if I were using this in the kitchen, where I was testing a chicken or casserole every couple of minutes, I would hate it.

Defaults to Celsius
When you turn it on, it will always reads in Celsius. You have to press and hold a button for second to toggle it to Fahrenheit. Kind of pain. So, I taped a small F to C conversion chart on the back. Maybe I'll just teach myself the metric system. It's plenty accurate for cooking food.

Piece of crap
Garbage..... wouldn't even turn on. Waste of time and money because they expect you to package it back up and drive to a dropoff location to try and get a refund. How about not sending people junk? Then we wouldn't have this problem
