Sam and Nick's lives will never be dull
This is one of my favorite series and I always look forward to another book coming out. Sam and Nick are such a great couple who really love each other and understand each other. They don't try to change the other person but accept who they are. The story continues as Nick and Sam have to make some big professional decisions in their lives. As they are hit with all kinds of chaos, they know that they will be there and will make it through whatever they decide.Sam and her team gets another perplexing case to solve which has you wondering who the murderers are and why they target the victims that they did. Sam must deal with the investigation along with introducing a new member to the team and making sure that her team adjusts well to the change. The interaction between Sam and Freddie are so hilarious that you just laugh out loud reading their exchanges. Sam loves torturing Freddie about the bachelor party she's throwing him since she's his best-man woman. Poor Freddie just can't deal knowing there will be craziness from Sam. And of course, it wouldn't be Sam unless there's drama within the department between her and her peers!Nick and Sam has to deal with the rumors about President Nelson and the possibilities that Nick could be ask to take the highest position in the country. Both of them work through what they need to do and how best to solve the issue for the country. Even with all the craziness involved, we get to see the hotness between the 2 and the deep love that they have for each other.I can't wait for the next book to find out what's coming up next for this hot couple!

Another hit out of the ballpark
For Metro Police Lieutenant Sam Holland, escaping the heat and humidity of DC was the smartest move ever made. She got to enjoy family time with her husband, Vice President Nick Cappuano and her family and friends at the beach even if romantic beach walks are not so romantic with secret service around them. No sooner back from vacation, Sam is thrust in a case that puts the whole city on edge. Fatal drive by shootings keep Sam and her homicide department working around the clock trying to stop these criminals but the clock is ticking. With the fallout continuing over the president’s son’s activities that targeted Sam, Nick and their families, will Sam and Nick find their lives changed and possibly have Sam’s career end.? Can the greatest challenge Nick has ever faced in politics with the mounting pressure destroy the bond they worked so hard to build together or deepen it?FATAL CHAOS continues the aftermath of Fatal Threat and delivers a pulse pounding story from start to finish. With the right amount of tension, mystery and romance, Ms. Force delivers a powerhouse of a story that will leave you breathless. As this is the thirteenth book in the series, I highly recommend you read this series in order as each book capitalizes on the next and the characters mention past events that you may not know about or are confused about if you start mid-way. FATAL CHAOS takes us to the beach where Sam and Nick as well as their immediate families are enjoying some major downtime together after the threat they had to deal with in Fatal Threat. With characters that just blow you away to scenes of intense emotions, you find yourself on the edge of your seat along side Sam and Nick as they navigate this new threat to their home and relationship. What I love about the Fatal series books are the characters. Samantha Holland is a kick ass take no prisoners cop and is determined to do her job to the best of her ability. Granted sometimes those abilities get her in the ER where her husband freaks out over another bruise or stitches but its part of her job as a police officer. Granted she is the second lady of the United States which also is part of her world. I love how Ms. Force has Sam not quite the perfect political wife. She has no desire to give up her career, a career she worked her ass off for and it takes a special kind of person to accept that about her. Nick is her perfect counterpart in every way. These two take my breath away and I love how in synch they can be in especially when it comes to their son Scotty. With each book, the reader falls for this couple and cast of characters more deeply. I absolutely adore the secondary cast of characters Ms. Force has created. From FBI agent Avery Quinn to their helper/assistant Shelby who just loves pink. Sam’s interactions with everyone-good guys and bad- keep me in stitches one minute, rooting for her to take down the bad guy the next. Each time I crack open one of these books, I find myself falling back under the spell of Ms. Force and loving every minute of it. Every character, be it main characters, secondary or the bad guys, are all well written, multidimensional and keep the reader glued to the pages till the very end of the book. Its rare for me to reread a series repeatedly unless they are one of my absolute favorites and the Fatal series is one I do a reread of periodically.FATAL CHAOS is one hell of a ride and leaves the reader guessing right till the climatic ending. With some scenes where Sam is teasing her partner Freddie over what she is planning for his bachelor party (Dwarf strippers anyone??!!) to her determination to finding the bad guys and stopping the killing going on in her city, Ms. Force delivers a powerhouse of a story that will leave you gasping for more. Now the only complaint I have is I need more and luckily November is coming soon for the next book. I highly recommend this series for anyone who enjoys a JD Robb In Death book, House of Cards TV show and more because once you start this series, you won’t want to put it down. This is an objective review and not an endorsement

Another hit in the series for Ms. Force
As always, Ms. Force did not disappoint me with this story. She writes a fast paced book with lots of steam, some tears, much needed laughs (often at Freddy's expense) and twists and turns.I felt for the team on this one because as you will read this was a difficult case for all of them. We were also introduced to the new detective who I liked a lot and excited to know more about him.I have read the entire series and it's like these characters are real people dealing with real life issues. It's nice to see them all again as the story continues and just when I think that Scotty cannot be any more awesome, he is. In my opinion he steals the scenes he is in. I find myself wanting to read about him more and more.Tinkle Bell is back and it was good to see some lose ends tied up a bit there. And what Sam did to torture Freddy, well you if you know Sam I am sure you can only imagine what she put him through before the bachelor party.Sam has made some more enemies in this one, like she really needed to add more to the list! But she proves time and again what a fantastic cop she is, well really the whole team is.I couldn't put this one down and I find my self wishing there was a man out there that loved me as much as Nick loves Sam *sigh*.I can't wait to find out what is next but it looks to be another emotional roller coaster for at least two characters that will affect the rest.

Fatally Flawed
Slow start, this recent book lacks basic writing 101, don’t rush the conclusion. Reader gets a taste of a great love, once again dealing with chaos from a police career. Adding a little humor with the teasing over her partners bachelor party, might have been the best read in the book. The punk serial killer theme of using and forcing a retired, seasoned police officer to shoot and kill innocents, just didn’t seem realistic. Overall, you could skip this book in the series and be better off.

Drive-by
Satisfying, homicide police Lieutenant Sam Holland Cappuano is just back from a Summer holiday with Nick, Scotty and her extended family. However, a series of fatal drive-by shootings has her immediate attention and have her squad stretched across the city to investigate and collect evidence from each incident. But why have they happened?FBI Avery Hill has always had a crush on Sam Cappuano from the first time he met her, even knowing that she was happily married. But now in order to have a loving and meaningful relationship with Shelby Sam's assistant (after expressing after foolishly expressing his feelings for Sam to Shelby) he has started therapy sessions. But will Avery persuade her to attend a session with him?Nick is worried that he might have to step up and become President. This following the active involvement of the President Nelson's son David in the terrible torture and murder of Sam's ex husband. David's political ambitions wanted evidence to discredit the Vice President But did Nelson know about his son's intentions. Will Nelson be impeached or force to resign? This book is a very good one. Make an effort to read it.

What a great read!
Well once again Marie has hit the jackpot in bringing us dedicated readers and fans of the chaos series a brilliant and exciting read! From the very first page to the last, this has been a brilliantly, well flowing piece of story writing.I just love to catch up with Sam, Nick and Scotty. Plus we have the added bonus of seeing what their immediate family and friends are up to in their lives. Best of all though is we get to see Sam at work with her team to bring law and order to the streets. As usual Marie has woven a great crime incident into her story of Sam being the second lady and continuing to fight for law and order and everything that is right.I like the intervals at at HQ, particularly the ones that involve other parties who feel Sam is just a little bit above herself (I do not think this for one minute), I like the encounters which even though they involve Sam sometimes having injuries she handles them like a pro.Really can’t wait now for the next instalment.

Fantastic, The best of the series, so far!!
Fatal Chaos is for me the best of the series so far! And honestly, I could not put it down. As it was packed full of suspense, not to mention it had a storyline that was not only brilliant but utterly captivating. As the fallout from Fatal Threat continued, and the speculation surrounding the President's possible role in the murder of Sam's ex-husband and threats against the Cappuano-Holland family increased, Sam herself faces another tough case. That sees her and her team racing around the district on the hunt for a sharpshooter, who is randomly gunning down civilians at an alarming rate. Yet, through all the ups, and downs, and even the horrifying possibility of Nick ascending to the number one job in the country, Sam and Nick hold on tight and continue to grow stronger and stronger. And with plenty of light moments, lots of heat and levity; this really is a fantastic read. That I would happily recommend to all.

Another amazing book in the Fatal series
Marie Force continues to keep the reader engaged and entertained in the 12th book of the Fatal series. The calm of a beach holiday is soon shattered as Sam is back to reality with a bump tracking down the bad guys after several drive-by shootings. Nick is trying to hang on to his post as Vice President whilst supporting the women he loves. With all the drama Marie Force adds some comedy into the mix to add light and laughter to the shade and despair. The first Ebook in the series is free, so if you want to dip your toe in the Fatal water you have nothing to lose and soooo much to gain !

This is a brilliant series. Nail biting, tear jerking, smile making, out right laughter making. Marie. Your writing is brilliant as with all your other books too. Keep writing about Sam and Nick and we will keep reading. Never gets boring. So many inter linked stories, it's like a greAt catch up with a good friend. Brilliant. Must read series.
