Easy to use and great for masking fine lines and details.

Great little masking pen, the fine nib allows for detailed and smaller masking (less suited to large areas therefore). The blue colour helps you to see where you've been and it rubs away easily.Only thing is I'm not sure if it lifts a bit of paper if you go over an area more than once. After I've rubbed it away there seems to be a little bit of rough paper, but it could be down to the type of rubber or paper I use?No loss of flow yet and no blockages.

I love this pen. You have to press down quite hard on the nib (on a separate piece of paper!) to start the flow of fluid each time you use it, which might explain a few reviews claiming it was faulty - eg just shaking it doesn't work. If you do it right you can easily see the liquid seep down into the nib.Once it's flowing you can use it exactly like a pen to create lines. It shows up pale blue and faintly shiny, so you can easily see where you've added it. I've worked over it with a black ink pen and with watercolour (which included drenching the paper) and it stayed in place. Once everything is dry I use a pencil eraser to remove it and it comes off easily.I've only had it about a week and used it over 3 or 4 days so I don't know how long it will last, but there's no sign of it clogging or drying up yet. Brilliantly, I've just realised that you can easily slide the nib out to clean it, to prevent clogging and drying. Really pleased!

Easy to use if an expensive way of buying masking fluid.

Just what I wanted for very small areas. Wouldn't do for larger areas though as too fine.

Contrary to some reviews (both here and elsewhere) this does work, but if you're a touch heavy handed you have your work cut out for youNo masking fluid applicator is perfect be it a pen like this or a bottle and tool - brush, dip pen, cocktail stick, etc..You have to learn which system suits you best and you have to be aware that the fluid sets if any air gets in somewhereThis gives a fine controllable line when employed carefully and correctly - otherwise use an opaque white!

Whoever thought this product up is a GENIUS! Thank you so much, muah, muah, muah!!! What a brilliant idea, and it works so well (so far anyway). I was able to make such precise lines with this, and it was so much fun to use, and easy to erase with a regular eraser or even my finger. Love it!

EASY to use & comes off after painting easily just by using my fingers to rub it off. Other items I've used rip my paper, or tear it. LOVE THIS!!

This is the first masking pin that actually works! This is everything it’s advertised to be and everything that the artist I’ve seen claim meant to be. Will definitely be buying more of these!
