Smaller than I thought it was for some reason but looks like it’s going to be a great tool.

I don't sew, so I never used this item for its intended purpose. My review is based on its success as a perforating tool.I like to make "punch boards" for my kids' birthday parties. I decorate a large cardboard box and cut circles in it to fill with prizes. The kids then punch through the paper covered holes to find their prize. The issue I had is some of the smaller kids just couldn't punch through the construction paper. I used this tool to add perforations in the cover of each prize location so that it was very easy to punch through. It worked perfectly! Even the small kids could get the prizes themselves.This item is very sharp, so you don't have to use any pressure or strength to make the perforations. The points are spaced far enough apart that the paper doesn't tear under it. I'm not sure how well this works as an overstitch tool, but as a paper perforator, it is excellent.

I ordered this to trace my model railroad plans onto the table to lay out my track. It pierced the paper and the base rigid foam just fine making it easy to line up the track. The grip is comfortable and it seems to be well made. Mide you, the points on th ewheel are SHARP so be careful unless you want some home made acupuncture.

I didn't end up using this as much as I'd anticipated, but it is sturdy and nicely made. The ones in the fabric shops are pretty flimsy next to this. It should stand up to heavy use for a long time.

Speedy delivery! Great price. I am a mural painter, and using it for pounce patterns. The wheel is a bit wobbly, easily corrected by adding a thin washer. The wheel axle is a screw and nut. Sturdy little tool. Handle is not too comfortable. Sharp pins work great for punching little holes, easy to push too hard, making bigger holes. It works great, better than the cheap dressmakers tracing wheel I've been using.

Exactly as described. Came quickly. The teeth are needle sharp, so beware when opening the plastic cover. The handle, arm, and wheel are all sturdy and should last well. The points of the teeth are probably too fine to use for pouncing, but should be ok for other uses. Nice and solid. Would buy this again.

I am new to sewing and wanted to make my own patterns from clothes - so first using this I traced the outline on paper and it worked brilliantly - just don't press to hard or you will actually go through the paper. Line was clear and so easy to cut out.I then tried it on actual fabric - cotton types work great but fleece is no good. So I will use it on firm, strong weaved material but anything with give ( jersey. fleece) tracing onto paper is better.Wheel turns so easily and smoothly and it feels nice in your hand.A nice piece of equiptment
