Got this in my package and ordered it mainly to ensure that i have a longer cable for my bluetooth speaker since i had bad experiences before with those short cables that came with the box. For the purpose that i bought it for it serves the purpose very well and it charges using my charger and car cigarette connection. However as i was looking to review this cable i saw a lot of very negative reviews at the very first pages. Unfortunately i can't confirm their claims that this is not an OEM charger since i dont have a compatible phone for that test but for everything else the cable works.As for its form and built, the cable is above your average build. It's shiny and looks premium. It will surely last a while but i have seen much better cables for heavy duty use and this is not one of them.

These cords (I ordered two) are exactly the same as the one that shipped with my Galaxy S3. It is literally impossible to tell them apart from the original except that the new ones are still stiff from not being broken in yet. The items I received are exactly the same as what is shown.It was estimated that I would receive them on Saturday, but I got them today (three days early). The packaging seemed a bit bigger than it needed to be, but it did the job well as there is no damage to the cords. The cords come wrapped in a pill shape with a clear plastic band keeping the cords from unwrapping. So there is little effort done to protect the cords or the ends.My phone has no problem identifying these cords and, as such, has no problem charging or transferring data. They really are OEM replacements.If you're looking for good, quality replacements, I strongly recommend these.

I bought this cable to charge my phone in my car, and I also bought an Anker charger to go with it. the Anker charger can give my phone tons of power, so I figured I'd get a good cable. unfortunately, this is not entirely identical to the one that came with my phone; it's noticeably thinner wire, and it can't get me very good charging speeds as a result. the cable that came with my phone gets me around 800mA; this one can get me like 400 at best. the quality of the plug and everything is stellar, but the gauge of the wire is a lot lower than the one I got with my phone.

Great cable. Much longer than others I bought. I measured it and its 4 feet 9 inches long. It has worked for my Kindle Fire HD, Nexus 7, and Samsung Galaxy S3. For both charging and data transfer from computer. I like the cable so much I bought 3 already. You can never have enough cables when you own 2 tablets and a phone.NOTE* to transfer to some devices you may need to unlock it first. With my Galaxy S3 I had to enter the unlock code to access the files. So keep that in mind before you think it's not working.

When a company as large as Amazon sells an item advertised to be 5 feet in length, especially a cable, one would assume that the item is at least 5 feet in length. I purchased two of these 5 foot cables and received two cables both less than 5 feet in length. I measured from the ends of both connectors. While one cable will work for me, the other is being returned because its entire length is 3 inches less than the 60 inches advertised.As far as quality is concerned, the cable I've kept works as expected and seems to be well constructed. The shorter cable was returned to Amazon at their expense and I received an instant refund. I estimate that the couple of pennies Amazon saved by selling shorter than advertised cables will be lost by their paying two way shipping on the return. This is shameful and I expect a written apology from Amazon!

Despite the fact it is 59 inches and NOT 60 inches or 5 FT, as indicated on the product description, I am still glad I bought it. It does insert into my Samsung II and Jawbone ERA and also my boyfriends HTC phone. It also inserts into all my chargers. Happy I bought this cable.

It works. It plugs in safely and does not fall off the plug nor stagger in the nest. It fits all regular microUSB ports, including SG3 (obviously) and Kindle Fire HD. I had no chance to check the amperage of this one, but SGS3 gets charged in 2-2.5 hours, so it's pretty close to what original cable has.It is not original Samsung cable, but to my feel this one is sturdier. I ordered it from IBD Electronics btw, different sellers might offer different quality of product too, so I recommend this one.

This came in as a pack of two (one of few reasons why I bought it, one for my car/work the other for home) and one of them works, while I took the other one to my car and it doesnt charge! I think I have a defective one for my 2nd cable. I love the length of it, and I love how quickly I got it. I would of given it 5 stars if both cables worked perfectly.
