A couple years ago, a friend tipped me off to the idea of using SPF/UPF-rated "rash guards" as swim tops, because I'm super pale and extremely prone to sunburn. Those have absolutely changed my life, because if all your skin is covered, you don't have to remember to re-apply sunscreen (or apply it at all in the first place). Since some sunscreen ingredients have been shown to be damaging to aquatic ecosystems, and most good sunscreens are spendy, sun-protective clothing is not only a great choice for me personally, but also for my wallet and the environment. Finding sun protective swim tops is really easy, with hundreds of options out there, but finding bottoms with UPF numbers on them is nearly impossible in plus-size. This pair is not rated for any sun protection, but on the several days I wore them on a vacation in Mexico (plenty of sun!!) no burn happened. These are super comfy and really cute, and just look like capri leggings with little drawstrings at the bottom that can change them from mid-calf to at-the-knee. They do not have a lining or "built-in underwear," so I did feel a little exposed when wearing them alone, though my sister assured me that even when wet there was zero see-through concerns. The material is thin to the point where I don't think I'll be getting many swim seasons out of these, but until they fall apart these are cute & comfortable.

I ordered one size up and they fit like a dream! Very figure flattering, they don't ride up. They feel amazing, stay on in the water and look great too! I never get compliments on my swimwear but I do get compliments in these and asked where to buy them!I've bought swimwear in all ranges from discount retailers to high end "outdoors" retailers but THESE swim pants beat them all and are by far THE BEST PLUS SIZE SWIMWEAR I HAVE EVER OWNED!I feel confident now, ready to say yes when someone asks me to go swimming. I ordered these for sun shorts. I live the fit but we’re too long for me. I just cut off the bottom and hemmed them. Is they are perfect. Dries quickly. Great for my cruise.

Love this patten and fit! I bought the capri after I found the swim top. The pants have a bigger pattern than the top but looks great. I wore it on my cruise and felt very comfortable. True to size.

Living in an extreme UV exposure area it was important to me to have bathers that were sun-safe and allowed me to role-model sun safety to my children. These make me feel sun-safe but not daggy. They are a snug fit that look great with a bikini top or rash-top. So nice not to have to cover the top of my thighs in sunscreen as I always get burnt there if I've spent hours in the swimming pool. I was nervous buying bathers online as you need just the right fit- not uncomfortably tight, but not so loose they will fall off in the water. These were the perfect fit and I prefer to wear them with bikini bottoms underneath for ease of modest changing in public post-swim. Couldn't find any swim leggings in local shops, I would definitely buy them again.

I received those swim pants in time and absolutely love everything about them. Great fit and trendy style. I can recommend these to buyers. I usually would have chosen a size medium, but decided on a large instead, as someone mentioned thatthe legs were a bit tight. These ones are perfect for me.
