The media could not be loaded.  Pros: This little cooler actually works. You feel the cool air and actually see a highly atomized fog coming out of the vent, which evaporates a few inches after and does not make a watery mess. High-flow paper media design allows for unrestricted air flow from the fan. The fan is an electronics cooling fan, and it sits in the dry side of the cooler, so one can reasonably expect a long service life. It can use nearly a gallon of purified drinking water a day in my high-desert dry and hot area with outside temperatures around 90 deg. F, this means that it is actually evaporating the water and in turn, cooling the air. A plus is the added moisture to the air. It has two water trays, one on top to hold the reservoir water to be atomized into the airstream and moisten the paper media, and one on the bottom to catche any excess water, which is always dry when I check, however, it can also hold some water if you want to help keep the paper media moist and increase evaporative cooling performance. I also periodical moisten the paper media -- which consists of thick blue paper rectangles that turn light blue when dry-- to help improve evaporative cooling performance. The washable paper media is contained in a well designed removable cartridge. I use this little cooler in in my van since it has a center console with a generous spill-proof tray, so a little more water on a moist microfiber towel under the cooler -- which keeps the cooler from sliding around and absorbs and then evaporates excess/leaked water-- is a welcomed benefit. It runs on USB power as low as 1.2 amps.Cons: A little noisy in high speed, it can leak water if you add water to the bottom tray and then move the cooler. The vent louvers have little pivot pins made of soft plastic and are prone to breakage, so they require gentle handling.Conclusion: Do not expect this little cooler to cool down an entire room or an entire car while sitting in the hot sun. It will, however, provide a steady stream of moisture-laden cool air that you can direct towards you, and help create a cool zone around you. On the positive note, this fan does work and it cools fairly efficient. I was hoping to use it on my work from home days when A/C is not handling it well and it does make the "personal space" more comfortable. Freezing filter and adding cold water - haven't tried ice cubes - makes it even better.Main issue is that it's noisy. On low setting, it resembles an out of tune white noise machine - slight whining and fairly noticeable hum. As you crank it up, the whine gets really bad and it is starting to sound like a small jet taking off nearby. I suspect it'd only get worse with time.Unfortunately, will be returning it.

Filter is better on this gen than previous one. However this propels cold water vapor in the fan blows it out versus the first gen which the water tray soaks the filter and the fan blows through the cold air filter.There's really no need for the water to be blowing the cold Mist inside the unit only to be blown out at you if you're just going to freeze the filter anyway for use because freezing the filter would just be the entire cooling unit anyway

This fan, because that's all this is, is made with cheap plastic, it doesn't not any warranty, it pretty much does not do everything it saids it does, the light is worth less, your cell phone probably emits more light, it doesn't purify the air it does not humidity the air all it does at best is emit cool air wich only would work in a small room, officeor bathroom if you have it on all day, it won't replace ac and it has theatrics by putting water in it. It's super confusing both of the moods it hasOne is 3speeds regular fan and the other three God knows what it is. Don't waste your moneyThe real air purifier has to have a HEPA filter or else is not even a cheap imitation and those filters alone are close to 50 to 100 bucks.

It's a bit louder then I expected but not to bad I have it at work and no one else is bothered by it. If the noise level was lower then I think it's worth the price because it gets real cold. But I still love it over then a regular fan.

I love it! It works better then I thought and it has a little light that changes color on top. But there just one problem, it doesn't have a wall plug. So you'll have to connect to a USB port or use your phone's wall plug.

Does not come with the ability to pug into a 110 outlet. To get the most out of it you need preparation that takes time. Also parts that are removal don't go back so easy.

I Love it, it works perfect for this small bathroom I have that has no air in it. I love how I canput it on the night mode for different color lights in the dark. In simple...it's like going back intime, how people use to get cool back in the day. Putting the filter in the freezer and filling itwith water gives you this cooling sensation like no other fan does. I take it to all the rooms,especially in the kitchen while I am cooking...PERFECTION!! Thank You, SURPCOS!!

Cannot cool a regular size bedroom, expected cooler air even when I added ice. Disappointed.

I bought 4 of these. The power cords are faulty. One does work but only turns on to medium mode. The other one doesnt work at all. Be careful, they are not returnable. After contacting the seller, they stated to me that the power cords are not compatible......But there is NOTHING in their add to support this. Their add states that this product is powered by a UBS port. That's false. I cant stand faulty products. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS SELLER OR PRODUCT!

Product came in broke for both I purchased. The first didn't turn on some glitch with the wiring and the second the vents where broken. Overall disappointed with my purchase.But hadassah very fast respond in customer service (which was excellent, by far the quickest and easiest to deal with)
